    Just water clone.
So much easier/less finicky than a humidity dome.

I tried cloning myself. After one week of waiting, the clone only grow the leaves no roots coming out. Why ?

    Good job 💪🏼💯

  11. k j on June 12, 2022 at 8:00 am

It’s the wet/dry cycle that does it. Especially with BD.

  12. killtem c on June 12, 2022 at 8:02 am

You don’t need weather an air tight seal for cloning. Any dome will collect humidity when it’s warm enough. Humidity =water vapors. Don’t spray clones directly only spray the sides and top of the dome. Air out a couple times a day. If clones are dying probably to much light or temperature problems

  14. John Scott on June 12, 2022 at 8:06 am

Where did out get that humidity sensor?

  15. Hilt Tilt on June 12, 2022 at 8:06 am

How long did it take from them to root?

  16. Thump3r22 on June 12, 2022 at 8:08 am

my roots popped like crazy with rooter plugs. what i did was soak them in ph 6.5 ro water at room temp for like 15 min. then i squeezed some of the extra water out putting them into the cube tray. i used clonex gel on stems cut 45deg and scraped the walls only where im going to apply the gel. i filled the bottom of the propagator with 1/4inch of ro water 6.5ph this is just enough to touch the bottom of the cubes in the cube tray. i spray the leaves when ever i see dry with only ro water ph 6.5. 8 days later i need to transplant and start giving them ro with calimagi.

New grower here and I think that is my exact problem

  21. steven bucio on June 12, 2022 at 8:19 am

Should you slightly squeeze the grodan cubes? Also, should you mist from day one up until they root? Would spraying just RO water be okay or a diluted clone x solution mist work better?

  22. DNomad Lethal on June 12, 2022 at 8:20 am

this is exactly what i have been misunderstanding about the cloning process. i always have an issue with success rate and clones taking within the first week. never any roots. now i know what im doing wrong

  23. Dale Gribble on June 12, 2022 at 8:23 am

Been growing for 15 years and only recently I’ve had issues with this. I think it’s the same issue for me . It’s embarrassing as I consider myself a professional . I’ll get back to you in a few weeks

  24. S Edition on June 12, 2022 at 8:28 am

Great info man 👍🏼 I will add a little CalMag to the spray! I have 3 clones in a dome & tent that I need to keep alive for 5/6 weeks. 1 week down and they’re all good accept for the stems are purple now 🤷🏼 any advice.

  25. Paul kirch on June 12, 2022 at 8:31 am

Same thing when I tried cloning purple haze.. less water worked

  26. Duke Stark on June 12, 2022 at 8:32 am

Like and subscribe mannnn thanks bro… I see my issue.. dome wasn’t sealing fully

  27. 1da Deag on June 12, 2022 at 8:33 am

My pink kush Cuttings are kind of behaving strangely. Leaves are curling up on the sides on a couple of them, not all of them. They otherwise look really healthy. It’s about day 6 and they haven’t rooted yet which is fine but those leaf curls are whats bothering me. Thanks for the insight, I’ll give this a shot.

  28. Agremen on June 12, 2022 at 8:33 am

dude your wasting your time…You are making it to complicated! rofl i just did 25 clones 4 days ago and they are all rooting and are almost ready to transplant! I hop you give those popys 48h of near black out once you clone them…that help jump start the roots!

  29. Dave Gowie on June 12, 2022 at 8:36 am

Thanks man, I basically had 100% failure rate and I think you explained why. I’ll let you know next week if my clones make it. Thanks bro

  34. MrGrowBetter on June 12, 2022 at 8:38 am

Agreed, 0 filters real shit, I get it. Just on here to help out. Good luck

  35. GMAN LIMITED Anderson-0'driscoll on June 12, 2022 at 8:39 am

Good stuff might need some calmag but it’s been really helpful I’ve had issues with blue dream seedlings first time in ten years there very touchy with water either to much or not enough and they struggle you have to find the sweet spot witch I’m struggling with 😂👌

  36. The BMAN on June 12, 2022 at 8:39 am

Thanks for the info Growbro, I used plugs last time and also jiffy plugs cloned some OG, the jiffy got roots about 1week quicker. As for the plugs they took longer I would say 3weeks. Got them on a heat mat set to 80 and I’m only able to spray them leafs in the afternoon. My fluorescent light on 24hrs when this is happening.

  37. Aaron Cole on June 12, 2022 at 8:39 am

I agree with you. I’ve got Purple Tahoe that takes 3 weeks to have roots and must be never wet, only slightly moist.

  38. Val Vega on June 12, 2022 at 8:40 am

  39. Mick Cooper on June 12, 2022 at 8:41 am

Many thanks, answered my question as to why my clones wilted in front of my eye’s when transplanted
