Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) is NOT morning sickness– they are not interchangeable terms. HG is an extreme form of morning sickness that often lasts the entire pregnancy, is rare, and can be horrifically scary. It is extreme nausea and vomiting. For most, all day.

  2. @TaylorWeber on April 15, 2024 at 7:51 am

My question is, is being under constant stress, experiencing major depression and wanting to kill yourself really better than smoking weed? That kind of stress can’t be good for the baby…

  3. @desireebeck5123 on April 15, 2024 at 7:51 am

Okay but has anyone run into any issues with testing positive during labor or can someone explain why happens with that situation in there own experience since I’m sure it’ll differ for everyone I’d like to know what to expect.

  4. @christofferaateigen5767 on April 15, 2024 at 7:56 am

This is mostly bs, and the fact that they do not refere to studis shows this

  5. @lilpiggi on April 15, 2024 at 7:58 am

My friend had smoked weed throughout all of her 4 pregnancies.. Every baby came out big, no health issues, and all so smart today. The first one won the National spelling bee lol

    And she smoked HEAVILY 😬

  6. @andreaisabelle420 on April 15, 2024 at 7:58 am

    Que ignorante

  7. @sergiohermosillo1433 on April 15, 2024 at 7:58 am

I very slightly hallucinated patterns, but that was probably due to it being my first time ever and in addition, really potent weed. But it was nothing I would consider unpleasant. Once your tolerance goes up, that goes away.

  8. @anishinaabrie on April 15, 2024 at 7:58 am

i smoked daily through both of my pregnancies and both of my kids are perfectly normal. and im the type to do the most research on every topic so i made a well educated decision to continue smoking through my pregnancies due to the fact that zofran, prescribed for severe extreme morning sickness is more likely to cause harm and defects to a fetus then some plant. if i didnt have anything at all, i was throwing up constantly all day holding a puke cup in my hand at all times. i couldnt stop. i tried zofran and i didnt throw up at all but i was severely constipated for a month and did not poop at all that whole month. that was almost worse then just throwing up constantly. so i stopped taking that, said screw it and started to smoke weed again and i was back to only throwing up 3-4 times a day. it literally saved me. i only stopped originally because the nurses acted like i was a drug addict and said they were gonna have to call people about my usuage. nothing ever came of that both pregnancies btw and i was in an illegal state. i did further research and found out that cps does not do SQUAT for mothers who test positive for THC. even if the baby tests positive at birth. they did make me call some addiction counseling team and they literally laughed at me and said they would let the doctor know that everything is all good and theres nothing to worry about. nobody takes it seriously so there is that.

What are your sources? Not sure that’s accurate…

  10. @PlorkStar on April 15, 2024 at 7:59 am

It’s easy weed is ok just don’t be so fucking selfish when pregnant

  11. @JimmyJaxJellyStax on April 15, 2024 at 8:00 am

I thought I just had low tolerance but I’ve never ever been able to enjoy any use of marijuana – the effects feel like psychosis and depersonalization for hours and I want it to stop.
Aparently there’s a rare gene that causes too much anxiety and paranoia with even a tiny amount of marijuana – these people can never get tolerant and enjoy it.

  12. @kaileygreen4774 on April 15, 2024 at 8:00 am

Hyperemesis Gravidarum and Morning sickness ARE NOT the same thing. Hyperemesis is very debilitating and can last the whole pregnancy. After hearing this narrator conflate the two I’m going to say this video really can’t be trusted.

  13. @carolinajimenez998 on April 15, 2024 at 8:00 am

Please for the love of god stop justifying smoking weed bc ur friend had kids who were “smart” and smoked. Those babies are likely to have adhd and irritability do we fail to mention that marijuana has chemicals in it? We use chemicals during the process and thc has not been studied during pregnancy. Until then we shouldnt feel comfortable putting such things in our bodies think about the babies! Also if we cant drink a hot cup of chamomile tea what in the world makes u think its okay to SMOKE?

  14. @tanyamcghee3922 on April 15, 2024 at 8:01 am

Is CBD less damaging then mental illness pills tho? Those women get taken off meds, and does it help prevent post partum depression?

  15. @brookestierwalt8112 on April 15, 2024 at 8:02 am

Cannabis is not hallucinogenic? This video goes back and forth between saying it’s unsafe to saying there isn’t enough research to tell if it’s safe. If more and more mothers are turning to it has to have benefits in helping them cope with the difficulties and discomfort of pregnancy. I’m looking for an educational video and all this had were contradictions.

  16. @yaeyaeslife1512 on April 15, 2024 at 8:03 am

  17. @cinthiamiranda4440 on April 15, 2024 at 8:04 am

Idk what weed she smoked… I’ve never had hallucinations or heard of people hallucinating with weed

I am 10 weeks pregnant and I’m CRAVING some zaza I haven’t smoked in a month since I found I was pregnant and it’s smells absolutely horrid but I miss feeling sooo hiighhh. Has anyone else noticed the smell got worse or just me?

  19. @allahcohafufnab3981 on April 15, 2024 at 8:09 am

Weed is a psychedelic I don’t know why no one knows this a very subtle one indeed, I’ve hallucinated before from dispensary weed it’s not a myth that weed can produce subtle to extreme hallucinatory states

  20. @Array_of_objects on April 15, 2024 at 8:09 am

12 year grower here. One word PESTICIDES. Do not, and I mean do NOT SMOKE WEED DURING PREGANANCY. The most common pesticide used in cannabis is neem oil. In its concentrated form its called azadiractin. This can be converted into formaldehyde when a flame touches the residue.

  21. @ammary4456 on April 15, 2024 at 8:10 am

Ive been smoking pot during my first pregnancy, and now iam pregnant again and i still smoking pot , i dont want to do it im scared but nothing can beat pot when you have severe pain in your body , nausea , headache …. its really relaxing but still i want to use it only when my insomnia and anxiety hit during pregnancy,

  22. @brynnhedrick7604 on April 15, 2024 at 8:13 am

im 9 weeks pregnant and only smoke when I really need it, I’ve been sick like a dog and my mental has gotten a lot worse since I got pregnant (to the point where I’ve wanted to harm myself) its not something I wanna go to since its illegal in my state and the dr I see drug tests and I my self have ADHD, mental health issues and a learning disability. Growing up with that shit was a major struggle and I wouldn’t wish it upon anyone epically my child I just don’t know what else to do. I’ve been smoking for about 4 years consistently but have only smoked not even a hand full of times since I got pregnant. just not sure what else to do but I don’t wanna jeopardize the health of my baby

  23. @Bigbootymamaa on April 15, 2024 at 8:14 am

I’m 15 weeks and smoking the green. It’s preference, my intuition tells me everything is fine

  24. @BitchhhPlease on April 15, 2024 at 8:15 am

Smoked throughout my entire pregnancy for 5 out of 6 pregnancies. All children are perfectly normal no low birth weight or defects. Wish I would of smoked with my first. 😅

  25. @israeltorres3592 on April 15, 2024 at 8:15 am

Alabama Arrested a pregnant mother because she smoked weed the day she found out she was pregnant. They had her sitting in a sound sleeping on the floor until she went to rehab. But this mother didn’t have a drug problem and wasn’t a smoker.

  26. @sandwichmaker98 on April 15, 2024 at 8:15 am

The only issue these comments are not mentioning is that many states will report to DSS/CPS if the baby tests positive (if you used cannabis after 20 weeks in pregnancy) and she tests positive— some states will only require one home visit and one clean cannabis test and close the case. Some states require 90 day drug classes for the parents, and the baby isn’t allowed to be with you alone ever at all during the case. You can stay with a family member or a member can stay with you (who’s been approved by CPS) with your baby so you can be together. Otherwise, a family member takes your child until your drug classes (and many clean drug tests during the case and at the very end, with the weekly classes) are entirely over and the reporters and supervisors close to case.

  27. @lukelombard6140 on April 15, 2024 at 8:16 am

Well now you see how and why by marijuana and cannabis  people of smokers dont relized themselfs they still acting to other people like a real racist,  push over , bully , health threat , assaults , and a real disgrace to other people  are not invovled with marijuana and cannabis the main faulty part is you are showing others children disrespected to other parents of there child health you didnt know what they have . Money ,  law suits , wont help out to replaced that child sickness or death .

  28. @brooklyncooper816 on April 15, 2024 at 8:17 am

They want you to use chemicals and smoke chemicals that they grow so they can say that actual weed is dangerous

  29. @lucianomontana5244 on April 15, 2024 at 8:19 am

Poor baby thats why they have asthma anxiety and mental health problems when they grow up

  30. @thecannabisdoc on April 15, 2024 at 8:20 am

i thought this would actually be pertaining to pregnancy. you may as well change the title to marijuana classification

  31. @lo1083 on April 15, 2024 at 8:21 am

I love how many of y’all are typing google answers. Worried about pesticides and chemicals and what cause adhd but don’t even read on the back of 90% of food products you consume say “contains bioengineered products”.
Lol you think you’re safe bc you’re against weed. If you’re not on a full on plant based diet of fruits and veggies that only bare seed, (which are also genetically modified if you go to grocery stores) then shut tf up lol

  32. @eepking5275 on April 15, 2024 at 8:25 am

it’s not rocket science Look you have to be an idiot to think that smoking weed will be okay for your baby if you’re pregnant I’m sorry you shouldn’t be taking painkillers you shouldn’t be taking really much of anything but food and drinks like water not alcohol plus even just to be responsible as a soon to be parent don’t I’m not weed is cool but not when your pregnant no one wants to see smoke near a pregnant woman no matter what kind it is it doesn’t even look right

  33. @nichesound on April 15, 2024 at 8:25 am

smoke pot and get over it people

  34. @weekendnomad5038 on April 15, 2024 at 8:26 am

I’ve never hallucinated while smoking weed only when smoking the delta 8 legally sold in stores in Texas

  36. @MikeMolden on April 15, 2024 at 8:30 am

  37. @itzmeh6017 on April 15, 2024 at 8:31 am

Just had a healthy baby girl. 6lbs 11 Oz. 19 inches long.

No epidural and a natural birth. Doctors said my wife is a unicorn. Thing is…my wife smoked heavily almost the entire pregnancy. Went in at 6pm and the baby was born at 743am. The actual pushing only lasted like 20 min.

Baby ate within the first hour and ate 5 times by 3pm. Had a bowel movement at 330pm.

No issues whatsoever. She is so precious and doesn’t even cry alot.

  38. @kendavis9218 on April 15, 2024 at 8:33 am

People talk like today’s marijuanna is not laced with synthetics and other unsafe chemicals. 😁

  39. @brooklyncooper816 on April 15, 2024 at 8:37 am

What they don’t tell you is that people who access to money and chemicals spray all type of chemicals to make them grow but I bet if you get it from an illegal grower who grow it with just sunlight and water I bet your weed won’t cause you Hallucinate or even feel sick CBD IS WORSE ITS PACKED WITH CHEMICALS

  40. @itzmeh6017 on April 15, 2024 at 8:37 am

Our little girl is almost 9 months now and she is past most 9 to 12 month benchmarks.

She crawls, eats on her own, says mama, da dad, daddy, hi, hey and rarely cries. She loves playing, watching TV, going outside, going to festivals, and she is completely healthy. She only cries when hungry, needs change, or hurts herself.

She is so chill in public, watching everything. Weed may have helped our baby tbh lol

  41. @tylerklein2483 on April 15, 2024 at 8:38 am

Marijuana during pregnancy definitely can cause birth defects in the child anybody who says otherwise is lying

Back when I was 17 years old in the late 1970s, my best friend’s older sister got pregnant and married, in that order. On New Year’s Eve when she was 5 months pregnant, her sister and I were out running around. We stopped in to see my friend’s sister and brother-in-law. This was at 10:30 pm. She was sitting on the floor in front of a record player listening to music and she was smoking pot. She told us that she had been smoking since 6:30 pm and she could still function. Cannabis back then was not as strong as it is today. But I noticed that her eyes were so dilated, that I couldn’t tell what color they were, and she wasn’t sitting in the dark. The living room and the kitchen lights were on. By the time she went into labor a month later, her sister and I stopped speaking. That’s a story for another time. But I don’t know If she had just started smoking that New Year’s Eve, or had been smoking since conception. And I didn’t know if she continued smoking until she went into labor. But I know for a fact that for 4 hours on New Year’s Eve in 1979, she was high and so was her unborn daughter. So I don’t think a pregnant woman should not take anything other than what her OB/GYN okays. That is a no brainer.
