I had medicaid until they decided I have too much income. Is there an age at which someone no longer needs to have a job for medical assistance or at which they are no longer subject to the income limits? I find it rather odd that they count SSDI and other benefits as income. No, that is not income as in from a job. I am past the appeal window for that but if I apply again next year and of course get the letter than I am not eligible (again) can I appeal it and get it back then? Of course they might keep telling me I have too much income. That is where I feel a bit cranky and just want to ask them where it is they saw me earning income?

Live in Texas, I’m in a nursing home. ,off and on for the last three, for rehab, walking . As of 2023 January, we were only allowed to have $60 per month. What is My recourse? Would you be interested in handling my case?

I’M 73 and I get 680./month of SSI. I have no assets or in a nursing home. Missouri Helthnet keeps declining me, because I’m over 65. I don’t get it. I can’t afford all those copays on $ 680/month. What am I suppose to do?

I work in community engagement at the Tacoma Pierce County Health Department in Washington state and I was wondering if you knew anything about Medicaid eligibility and illegal immigration status
