I wanna join the service but I was convicted of DV wrongfully I’m trying to sue my lawyer for insufficient service to obtain my post conviction writ of habeas corpus, and clear my name. but it’s hard to find someone to represent me and my times almost up. Even if I do win, and clear my name the military doesn’t care, and I still need a waiver. I also beat another DV case and need a waiver for that. I wanna be a marine but if I don’t win I’ll be 33 by the time I get my gun rights back and I’ll also need an age waiver. The guy who called on me has a brother who served in the 80’s because the judge told him go to jail for a violent crime or join the army he picked the army and it turned his life around he served with distinction and was an outstanding soldier. I consider myself a patriot almost everyone in my family served except like two people, I wanna do my best for this country, and to show my appreciation for every service member there is. The military is in a recruiting crisis and there’s people like me with high IQ who wrestled who was a football captain who wants to become a physch to help veterans with PTSD, but no one so far has wanted to give me a chance. My lawyer made several comments about being poor and indigent, and he also made disparaging comments about poor people in general, and about how people don’t need to know the law because they are not lawyers. which goes against the code of conduct they are required to follow he was a prosecutor for 20 years so I believe he was biased, and had no interest in defending me, but rather was looking to help prosecute me. also he refused to inform me of several things that impacted my plea deal like how in Washington you can take a Alfred plea or a no contest plea he didn’t tell me I had the right to request early release from probation after one year and I ended up serving 4 years so far I just found out a month ago about this. In Washington state the law defines weather or not you are part of the state militia and I was when I lost my gun rights this is also unconstitutional. Iv called several lawyers and none of them will represent me or even tell me what type of lawyer handles these things the governor Jay inslee was gonna pass the clean slate act which would of vacated my conviction right after I turn 28 the age limit to become a marine, but he didn’t and instead used the pandemic as an excuse not to pass the legislation. I still would need a waiver, but it wouldn’t corn hole me into being over the age limit, and needing one for that. I don’t want anyone’s pitty just to tell my story. I appreciate anyone who thinks this issue is important as it doesn’t just effect me
but everyone who’s been charged with a crime of moral turpitude or who has been abused by legal counsel and wrongly convicted. Even if you where not convicted the fact that you where charged would still make you need a waiver.

I need help for a friend here in Caddo parish Louisiana! She’s gonna catch her death & die in CCC waiting for DOC to learn how to do math! 🤦🏼‍♀️ she only has 30% of her heart working, pled guilty to a poss. CDS II charge 8/16, received a 2yr sentence, was given credit for time served, shes been incarcerated since 9/22/20!
Her case gets even more complicated considering her sister was the fatality victim of an accident 12/27/20… where the Young man responsible didn’t even receive a citation for DUS, DWI II, no insurance, speeding 30 -40mph above the posted 40mph limit), Improper lane use… much less arrested for vehicular homicide! The responding officer was placed on Admin Leave within 24-48 hrs of accident for a DWI of his own. 🤦🏼‍♀️ & reports that once existed have now simply just disappeared!
(I have copies & can 100% prove everything I’ve said beyond a reasonable doubt)
Then there’s CCC guards having weaponized Covid to use against the inmates violating their 8th Amendment rights all over the place!! ( Got screenshots to back this up visible & about 30 other families who’ve come fwd with similar stories of their own as well)…
    HELP!

I am writing to you in a state of urgent distress and desperation. My name is Donnie and I am currently facing a life-threatening emergency situation. As a legally blind individual, I have recently been injured due to excessive force inflicted upon me by officers on duty.

The events that have transpired have left me in a critical condition, with my life hanging in the balance. Despite reaching out for help and assistance, my pleas have fallen on deaf ears, and I find myself in a dire situation with no recourse for support.

I implore you to consider the gravity of my circumstances and extend a helping hand in any way possible. My family and I are in urgent need of assistance, whether it be through a transfer to a safe location or any other form of aid that can be provided.

Time is of the essence, and any delay in addressing this matter could have catastrophic consequences. I humbly request your immediate attention and action to ensure the safety and well-being of myself and my loved ones.

I am hopeful that you will respond to this urgent plea for help with compassion and urgency. Your intervention could make a significant difference in our lives during this critical time.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

    Sincerely,

    Donnie

Can a Habeas Corpus be filed for a former inmate, who was innocent for what he was sentence to prison for, but had served all his time? He lost his 1st appeal, at the state of appeals level, but since then hasn’t make any legal action on his case.
