Still think you should keep it in place but not for 3 yesrs bar from 1 year to 6 months. We still need standards while trying to seek a job. Week is in todays form is more highly addictive them back in the the 70’s 80’s 90’s even the 2000s and if anyone tells you differently they are full of crap ๐
In my opinion this is like drinking. Can be addictive to some, but others itโs not. If you show up to a job intoxicated, then thatโs a red flag, but if you do it on the weekends, when you donโt have to work, then it shouldnโt be a problem. People just gotta be more responsible
Itโs about time
The reporter is fine
Drop it
I think it should be like alcohol as long as your not at work doing it why not. Better then zanac addics behind the desk. And less addictive then pharma versions.
It’s legal now for the most part and should be treated the same as if you went to work drunk or got a DUI.
It sucks that I’m out of many amazing opportunities because of medicine.
I can’t believe they have weed ls a schedule one drug. The government wants you on alcohol and Pills So you end up making bad decisions? The land of the free my a**
Yes drop it
Let me tell you something. The APA-American Psychological Association has a study on PTSD and vets and how it IMPROVED anxiety/trauma for Vets. It IMPROVED cognitive ability, VERSES pharmaceuticals. Unbelievable that a prescriber can prescribe mood stabilizers with horrible side effects but not marijuana? LOL. Now they realize they can make money in this
Be self employed
Weed is not a bad drug I donโt smoke but I know a lot of good people who do. Them high mofs gone get the job done they sit still and they be nervous to do idk
THE DOT HATES DRUGS!!
Be self employed get out of bs retail grocery stores and work learn a trade thats rewarding
Test for alcohol
๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
Just drop it. Every place i have ever worked 80% of them smoked weed everyday and often while working. Its never ever going to change.
End
Drug testing is totally unnecessary. End the stigma now.
If we was like Amsterdam we won’t be in such a debt if they made it legal 40 yrs ago and if our government was not so greedy everybody could eat but the devil is the devil
Puff puff pass ๐
I’m waiting for the day they have us use drugs to pass the test, ๐ค
I’d love to give back, and I’m good at working. I still don’t understand why smoking weed at my house before bed bugs these people when I show up 12 hours later on shift. I’ve seen plenty of drunk people show up to work. I’ve sent plenty intoxicated grown men home because of it. It’s not okay that these people are laxed because the drug doesn’t stay in their system for too long but I’m out of a perfectly good opportunity to help my community because I like to medically use cannabis. I’d even use it recreationally if I didn’t have my card.
I dont like Marijuana myself, i did vote to legalize it. So as a state of Michigan employee, im not permitted to exercise my right that i voted for. Doesn’t seem right. You come to work obviously not fit for duty, thats grounds for disciplinary action.
most likely a wise decision, unless were just flipping the narrative.
Its great that employees for the state of Michigan will have there jobs protected. But there are no such protections for private sector employees. Who are targeted, harassed, discriminated against for using marijuana in there free time. Rules for thee but not for me private sector workers are second class Michiganders.
