Yo do you sue Mycorhizle fungi in your system? If not you should, they can live in water because of their hydrophobic and hydrophilic mechanisms which stop them from absorbing to much water at once. It will make your Yield 30% bigger and also more terpene production will happen, you’re less likely to drown your plants too.

Fantastic! I thought I was alone in wanting to grow aquaponic cannabis! What do you use for supplemental nutrients? I was thinking of a worm casting tea with some kelp and perhaps some guanos?

How do you add more P and K for flowering in an aquaponic system. Or does it produce it naturally?

    Potent Ponics
I friggin love the idea of aquaponics.
My grower friends however are soil based and don’t like new things.
I’m going to use this method to show my friends the future of horticulture.

I did a little autoflower in my aquaponics outdoors a few years ago. It tasted great but puny yield, not sure if because autoflower or because of some nutrient lacking in my aquaponics. It had no discolouring or obvious signs of a nutrient lacking but i havent solved the problem yet

ust started our cannibus, started without pots and just in big mesh pots in the clay pebbles from nicely germinated fledglings. Shot up 1" everyday. My partner kept one in soil to see the difference. They were planted same time and the growth was short in comparison. After we got to about 10" tall we stuck the potted one in the rocks and it shot up bigger than the others. So now he decided to put it in soil and stuck it in the rocks. His thinking was that constant flood and drain will over soak the soil so he’s decided to do timers to only do one flood and drain a day. I’m not sure that would keep it growing as it initially did. What say you out there in the aquaponics cannibus world??
