Be an example and pass it NM. Don’t let republikans give all these bs reasons about "kids safety" and access when they don’t even apply that same logic to cigarettes and alcohol. #LegalizePotNM!

From what I understand, there has not been hardly any research done IN AMERICA on the effects of using marijuana. I believe Sweden has done extensive research and it should not be overlooked to say the least.

Waste past time to legalize this wonderful plant.

  6. @pir8prod on January 25, 2024 at 4:33 am

There are too many NM politicians on the payroll of the Mexican Drug Cartels. That’s why it hasn’t been legalized here already.

New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham’s political contributions came from George Soros, Jonathan Soros, Michael Bloomberg, Nancy Pelosi and Jane Fonda to name a few. (research further)

Efforts to convince New Mexicans to legalize recreational pot have been especially intense and well funded by George Soros. The goal of Soros is to legalize pot everywhere and keep them all stoned and stupid. (research further)

With New Mexico routinely ranked near the bottom of the country in terms of education, overall economy, opportunity, drug use, and crime, this is the worst possible option. (research further)

‘Another reason to stay here’…believe me, there are few reasons to stay in this State. She does what she can…education will never flourish here and I doubt the crime will decrease. The Governor legalizes marijuana…at least she does something.

  14. @silentecho4445 on January 25, 2024 at 4:41 am

Yeah new Mexico is one of the poorest states it needs the money… so what’s taking so long, It didn’t take Colorado long.

  15. @PapaKryptoss on January 25, 2024 at 4:42 am

  17. @kristyrodriguez5220 on January 25, 2024 at 4:51 am

Recreational marijuana is not the same marijuana as the hemp that cbd oil comes from.
This Governor should read up on this.
She wants to legalize it for two very selfish and political reasons. First, mmj users are voters for the most part and she is wanting a payback via reelection. Second, it’ll help fill the state’s coffers through taxation, citation and treatment programs , which are funded by federal block grants.
That’s the strings that are attached to that dangling carrot. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again- I can’t stand carrots.
Btw- many of my friends in other states are toke friendly. I am not. Since developing cancer and foregoing further treatment, I am searching for something that can alleviate the symptoms which contribute to the pain. I just signed up for my card. Only after reading the information about the difference between cbd oil and products, as opposed to thc induced pain relief.
My experience is that thc enhances my pain. I really don’t need that to happen.
In other words- if I can find the information, so can a governor who has many more resources to do so.

  21. @killuminatisanchez7522 on January 25, 2024 at 5:00 am

When is this going to happen!? Colorado has benefited so much from not only taxing marijuana but crime rates when down and quality of life went up. It’s a no brainer.

  22. @budconnoisseur9300 on January 25, 2024 at 5:01 am

Colorado is proof this is what New Mexico needs. Definitely would boost our economy.

  23. @danchavez8987 on January 25, 2024 at 5:03 am

Know that legalization has put so many restrictions on its marketing in other states that the profits and control of it makes it harder to become the business it is thought to be…Alcohol has only one medical use…to sterilize…go figure in its recreational use…people drink to the death…people tend to stop using cannabis saying I’ve had enough…Look at Alcohol and its psychological marketing…All movies…have a drink if you are depressed, have a drink if you are disappointed, have a drink if you are nervous, have a drink to celebrate, have a drink if you are disgusted, etc…etc…But never mention the side effects….unwanted marriages, unwanted divorces, unwanted pregnancies, suicides, murders, manslaughters, assaults, rapes, child abuse, etc…etc…Now that these numbers have been established, they cannot be confused with cannabis….

  24. @silentecho4445 on January 25, 2024 at 5:12 am
