In every gram of soil, there are over 60,000 species of germs. There is also millions of each species. Barely a third of these bacteria/micro organisms have been named. They have never been tested as to how they affect human health. They are completely eliminated, if you grow hydroponics with water based nutrients and hydrogen peroxide. This is perfect growth and safe.

I have found myself sitting between the 2 camps, Organic and synth. I like to consider myself organic, enriching my homemade compost with all natural products from DTE and Compost tea. I also like to grow different strains, and not every genetic requires the same thing in the same amounts. Ill use these other products to fix anything that’s out of balance. Great video, love the energy you put into you presentations!! Can tell your very passionate about the field! Synganic…. i like it

I reuse my soil, since I started my grows have gotten better and better. Can I continue to reuse indefinitely, (I add worm castings and nutrients) or will the soil eventually start to show diminished returns.

  8. @user-no6wd4rz4z on March 30, 2024 at 9:05 am

Ok this’ll be controversial i use both i use organic veg nutrients and mostly for bloom also but add sime synthetic kickers like steroids for the plants some big results but loose some terps if over done😊

  9. @DirtIsFree on March 30, 2024 at 9:05 am

I feel sorry for newbies tooo much science now with growing…
My first plant was 1992..I use earth juice fertilizers with powder milk, molasses and Epsom salt…..in soil…I love my grows..such a great feeling getting stoned off something you grow your self…..
Milk is soooooo old school no growers of today even talk on it…

  20. @fadedmass1662 on March 30, 2024 at 9:17 am

Best of both worlds. I’m using both throughout. It’s important to keep in mind what amount of soluble and insoluble organics are being used. It’s also really important not to use rock dust or anything with heavy metals like azomite when using synthetics. More specifically, chelated Edta nutes. With EDTA, the plant uptakes large amounts of heavy metals.

I have a question I have auto pots and I bought the grow dots. Can I use them with auto pots just put in some silica and some recharge in the reservoir? Thank you so much. I do hope you will help me with this question.. have a great day

  22. @Jay-zm3bx on March 30, 2024 at 9:17 am

So recharge in Coco? … I love Coco don’t care about fert waste but very interesting to learn there’s a better way…

  23. @jessethompson3446 on March 30, 2024 at 9:18 am

I struggled more with synthetics than organics im not sure why. Everyone always says bottled nutes are easy but i never had good results with them. Now i run build a soil, top dress with roots organic, occasionally make a compost tea, i use recharge for my microbes and get great results. I do wanna try the grow dots eventually.

  24. @anneandricevic6820 on March 30, 2024 at 9:18 am

Hi guys love your show this question popped into my head why do we not see regular seeds so much now all feminised UK 👍

  29. @mikehancho1613 on March 30, 2024 at 9:21 am

Ive used everything. Best advice i can give you is stick with 1, get good at it. Run the same genetics learn your plants, dial in your regimen and environment. lf you go with soil and organic expect it to be a little slower, coco and liquid nutrients, explosive growth! Choice is yours

Great video! This information was incredibly helpful

  31. @merledonoho9766 on March 30, 2024 at 9:25 am

I am using an organic for my autos I have been growing. They are working great but I use a lighter strength mix. They don’t seem to need the same amount of nutrients as the photos I have grown. I use Alaskan fish fertilizer, micro plus, and flower fuel. All brands are different, but they work very well together. I have made my own Jerry Springer spray, (colloidal silver), so once I have a few of my favorite fem auto seeds it is back to photos again. I might keep using the organic fertilizers for some plants. But there are some plants that I have grown you can throw as much nitrogen as you want to it and it doesn’t burn them. For the most part, I’ve used synthetics for them. When I grew blue dream every watering, I could hit them with very high nitrogen even through bloom. Potassium and phosphorus I just ran at my normal measurements and nitrogen I double up on until last three weeks of bloom. Great results but cost more in nutrients. I have also used blackstrap molasses for my Bloom stage. To my surprise, it works very good, but I did notice a sweeter different taste to my weed.

One of my biggest ask about organics is in true organics relying on the soil microbial populations, are there toxicities that will occur with certain nutrients in the system or is it more so a law of minimums like the barrel reference, where it’s only deficiencies that’ll occur based off what there is the lowest concentration of in your soil? Is it just specific nutes that’ll still be broken down by microbes into toxic levels? Are microbes still breaking down certain nutrients even in the absence of the specific exudates/sugars the roots will excrete in order for that nute to be broken down? Id love to imagine it’s a perfect balance where only what the plant needs willl be made available so long as it’s there to be broken down in soil based off of the exudates the plant produces, but I’d love to hear more before giving it a go. I’ve failed miserably 2 times with organics and never looked back but they were my literal first 2 grows… I love the consistency I achieve in my hydro set up but am interested at what I could do with maybe giving a soil recipe that’s been tried like Jeremy’s or Coots

  33. @caseyspectacularchristmasl5589 on March 30, 2024 at 9:27 am

I use Mills, use mammoth P and Tribus
    Honey chome in coco

  34. @robertyoung9888 on March 30, 2024 at 9:29 am

Do organics have a shelf life? I’ve been growing for 3 years and still have some of my original purchases, opened of course.

  35. @randall4411 on March 30, 2024 at 9:29 am

Organics create a smell in the tent . Your potting mix getting funky in a bad way .

  36. @Amviosify on March 30, 2024 at 9:29 am

I am still to top Advanced Nutrients. Nothing came close to it. But im growwing organic nutrients, compost, worm castings, rock dust, bone meal. But boosting 30% recommended synth dose on normal schedule. I still have mycoroot fruiting in my pots

Any opinion on potting soil organic black gold

  44. @QuietBasshead on March 30, 2024 at 9:38 am

Organic is awesome but i like being able to directly control my ppm strength and add nutes whenever I need, with organic its a little harder to time adding more top feed. Also every since i switch from gen hydro to dyna gro ive seen way more quality plants overall

  45. @mattewscott9684 on March 30, 2024 at 9:41 am

Organix always produces a superior product but it does take more time ( or better organizational skills so your always set for the next stage) chemicals always produce more but quality always suffers ,specifically taste wise.
Begginers are usually attracted to the " more yeild" side of the equation which lends to synthetics/hydroponics and grow show gouging big profits ,organics is harder to learn but as growers gain experience and their palate develops ( hopefully) they look to and appreciate more the organic approach. ❤

  46. @jeremearruda2079 on March 30, 2024 at 9:42 am

Question, my gf accidentally let one of my dwc buckets run dry while I was away. It is an auto , she added water to see if it might come back. My question is if it doesn’t come back it has flower on it most tri comes are clear, can I still harvest it?? And would you dry or press , what would be best option if no rebound, wish I could Pic of flower for you

  47. @fudney2163 on March 30, 2024 at 9:45 am

Synthetics is a misnomer. It’s more accurately to say Mined or refined. Salts are then optimizing through organic chemistry with chelation. There is only pure advantage with refined nutrients. The only fault is with the grower., learn to properly mix nutrients the real secret is to always be feeding, never let soil dry out (period) and always runoff 30% not a to not only flush resolidified salts but to replace the nutrient evacuated water (the ability to run off is a superpower not a disadvantage). You will have a better product when done right.

The environmental impact is a lie most the red tide is from beach erosion after turbulent weather streaks. that and you can simply nock the excess nutrients out of suspension by raising the runoff waters PH over 10 then let it settle to the bottom before you dump or reuse. I just simply dump it on my lawn, the greenest in the neighbor hood.

I grow organically, but the only thing that really matters is if it’s dank or not! 🤘🪴💚

  49. @isaacsantiago545 on March 30, 2024 at 9:47 am

I grow organically. I use Down To Earth amendments and create a super soil. I’ve come across an issue on my current grow that I can’t figure out. My plants haven’t grown almost at all this past week. I think it’s because I topped dressed 5 weeks after placing my plants in there final home. I also noticed deficiency on the lowest set of leaves on 2 of my plants (appears to be potassium). I know it takes time for the amendments to break down and be available for the roots. I’m planning on flushing my soil tonight. Also thinking about adding some Recharge with the last gallon of the flush water for each plant. What are your thoughts Scotty??
