Don’t forget. Instead of the tax money going to helping bolster communities impacted by the war on drugs. 28% of the tax goes to building prisons and another I think it said 14% goes to officers. Glad to see that money going back into the community deSwine!

What initially the republicans wanted was infuriating, but the new revision is something I can live with. I can grow my own, or eventually buy locally, and it is decriminalized. Who would of thought 20 years ago.

    It’s not ‘weed’
    It’s not ‘marijuana’
    It’s not ‘pot’

Seeds are perfectly legal to buy and send in the mail. Seeds have far less than .3% THC

  15. @bf6159 on December 13, 2023 at 2:27 am

Folks in Ohio did not get what they voted for… as placed on the ballot after years of scrutiny and debate. Why? Black Market you say? Really? The Ohio 10th for $70.00 is what promotes and enables the Black Market. Home Growers are not investing money to be lawless, and those who will grow illegally are already doing so. The reason they want to limit Home Grown is because of their proposed loss of revenue. Name a single instence where Law Makers actually demonstrate concern for the health and welfare of We the People. Once again, a measure initiated under false pretense, modified in a manner as to serve far less than it’s stated purpose, while generating revenue for those who fail up.

So… can I buy SEEDS at a garden center??

  17. @Hopewell51 on December 13, 2023 at 2:31 am

Goodness gracious . Why are they acting like marijuana is some kind of deadly drug? If anything it would be good for society.

  18. @S-40-83 on December 13, 2023 at 2:31 am

Ya’ll chill. Light one up it’s legal. How they gonna change it after thousands of people start growing starting now? Just atleast relax for a day and smoke up and grow something today. Start a happy little plant today.

  19. @TroyJScott on December 13, 2023 at 2:32 am

I wish I lived in Ohio now. Hat-Tip to this state for FREEDOM!!

  20. @erisacierno3479 on December 13, 2023 at 2:32 am

All marijuana laws are unconstitutional. No one in all of the history, of all of the world, has EVER die from marijuana. People die from drinking too much water all the time.

  21. @m.i.cbanda521 on December 13, 2023 at 2:33 am

Yes we are legal, but can’t buy it legally because our bumfuck senate can’t use the already established infrastructure.

  23. @Tom-kn6sr on December 13, 2023 at 2:36 am

Ohio republicans are going to legislate legal weed right back to blackmarket weed. Get those clowns out of our government.

  24. @deenell9039 on December 13, 2023 at 2:36 am

Ohio Republicans can mess this up if they want to. Street weed gon make it to where people can’t get some. It’s legal now. Time to open shop.

  25. @jasonolszanicky4035 on December 13, 2023 at 2:37 am

You can drive to Michigan and New York.

Or just call the local plug.

  26. @nortonnewmann3711 on December 13, 2023 at 2:38 am

Notice the media’s focus on "legally buying weed". They are INTENTIONALLY ignoring the biggest news… GROW YOUR OWN AT HOME! Politicians have been bribed by their "dispensary investor donors" and prison lobbyists to eliminate that "home grow" from the bill, so they can cash in. Seriously… how STUPID does Mike DeWine think voters are??

  27. @JamesS.254 on December 13, 2023 at 2:38 am

Dewine: And I quote, "Consumption will go up, people will be able to use it, but they won’t be able to buy it legally anywhere. We do not need an expanding black market".
Dewine doesn’t even hear nor comprehend what he’s saying, because NOT being able to buy it legally is the exact opposite of "Not expanding the black market".
And the Fact that they are telling us that if they pass their HB-86 bill that cannabis can be sold as soon as the bill is active only goes to show the corruption in that medical dispensaries could have sold recreational as soon as issue 2 went into effect (Today 12/7/2023). These people are corrupt.

  28. @erisacierno3479 on December 13, 2023 at 2:39 am

We the people voteed yes on a "PB&J sandwich" the corrupt politicians say we are changing it to a "ham and cheese sandwich". THAT’S NOT WHAT WE VOTED FOR.

  29. @RichardNoland-ss7fg on December 13, 2023 at 2:40 am

    Congratulations!!!!

  30. @andychambers3621 on December 13, 2023 at 2:41 am

We the people have spoken and now you all are not respecting our vote! 2.5 oz!? What a joke! They want to insure that we have to buy their weed! They are the black market. Let it be free as God ment it to be. You greedy bastards!

  36. @denial-and-error-mn4iw on December 13, 2023 at 2:46 am

I wouldn’t mess with the home grow Dewine . From where I see it that 57% of ohioans that will vote against you and out of the other 43% how many of them were not gonna vote for you anyway. Doesn’t sound good for you .

  37. @Professional.student on December 13, 2023 at 2:46 am
