  3. @rocknrollfrenchfries on December 9, 2023 at 1:54 am

THC limits will only keep the black market going strong and encourage more home grows. You can’t enforce a thc limit on homegrown…

  4. @bob733333 on December 9, 2023 at 1:55 am

Hey, dumbo, regulating the crap out of it is not going to hurt the black market.

  9. @paulao7022 on December 9, 2023 at 1:59 am

It looks like, average Ohioan’s will be growing pot in their gardens and planting pots. Then get into their cars/trucks and drive on Ohio roads. God, help us!

  10. @plutoplatters on December 9, 2023 at 2:02 am

  11. @leskobrandon538 on December 9, 2023 at 2:03 am

What happens next is the slow decay of society just like in California, Colorado and other states… Marry Jane is a gate way drug…..

  12. @hammyhamhamster5993 on December 9, 2023 at 2:05 am

<<<<<::::Legalize cannabis federally within each and every state. This way, irrational prohibitionist politicians can’t obstruct and prevent legalization against the will of the vast majority of Americans whom support full federal cannabis legalization nationwide. Treat cannabis exactly like we treat far more dangerous and deadly yet perfectly legal alcohol. Legal in all states.:::::>>>>>>

  13. @crysb5099 on December 9, 2023 at 2:07 am

Sounds like they didn’t think it would pass and dropped the ball, or they are buying time for something.

  14. @mitchconner6831 on December 9, 2023 at 2:08 am

Well one negative thing that comes along with legalization of pot in your state is the inevitable influx of Californians that will come to your state and bring their wonderful ideology with them.

  15. @Wides911 on December 9, 2023 at 2:09 am

  20. @la7era1u54 on December 9, 2023 at 2:13 am

  28. @bob733333 on December 9, 2023 at 2:26 am

Legalized as in the government crooks control it even more than before. How convenient.

  29. @--.--.-- on December 9, 2023 at 2:27 am

The state senate just passed a bill that is changing the law as passed.
This will doom the state politicians in Ohio. This is a slap in the face of all voters and may not even be legal. State reps get your resumes in order. This no longer is about marijuana, this is about telling voters that their votes do not matter, the government will do what they want regardless of what you say. The people have no voice in ohio.
They celebrate the fact that it passed but you still are not allowed to purchase it. Vote Them All Out.

  30. @colleenthompson7163 on December 9, 2023 at 2:27 am

By increasing the tax on rec marijuana, it still keeps the black market going as it will be more affordable

  31. @Active-jz9dn on December 9, 2023 at 2:29 am

I have names and addresses if anyone in authority ate looking and yes it is just blantant vindictive revenge🤷🏼‍♂️

  32. @nathanbrilus3547 on December 9, 2023 at 2:35 am

Are we legal it to help people, or to make taxes money

  33. @natesturm4366 on December 9, 2023 at 2:35 am

I live in Indiana, and when it was legalized/decriminalized in Michigan, Kentucky, Illinois, and Ohio? A lot of people living near state lines moved across the state line! And Indiana had no idea why.

Guess we can’t give up our precious growing soil for anything else other than corn. Corns too important . . . that and meth. Indiana just wants meth to reign supreme.

  34. @kenfalcon7204 on December 9, 2023 at 2:35 am

Yes, DEMs want legal abortions and weed…..abortions so they don’t have to bring a child into Briben’s Nightmare and weed so they can forget about Briben’s Nightmare!!!! Way to go!!!

  35. @bnananabanana3083 on December 9, 2023 at 2:36 am

What happens next? Oh that’s easy, they did it in Massachusetts in 2017. Your government is going to tell you they will tax rec weed at say 7% sales tax. Then on a Friday at 2am they will pass a bill taxing it at 21%. Facts….

  36. @patriot9455 on December 9, 2023 at 2:43 am

_"In strict medical terms _*_marijuana is far safer than many foods we commonly consume._*_ For example, eating 10 raw potatoes can result in a toxic response. By comparison, it is physically impossible to eat enough marijuana to induce death. _*_Marijuana in its natural form is one of the safest therapeutically active substances known to man."_*
*- Francis Young (Drug Enforcement Agency Judge – 1988)*

_"Penalties against possession of a drug should not be more damaging to an individual than the use of the drug itself; and where they are, they should be changed. Nowhere is this more clear than in the laws against possession of marijuana in private for personal use…”_
    *- Jimmy Carter (U.S.President)*

_“Congress should definitely consider decriminalizing possession of marijuana… We should concentrate on prosecuting the rapists and burglars who are a menace to society.”_
*- Dan Quayle (U.S. Representative & Vice President)*

_"Even if one takes every reefer madness allegation of the prohibitionists at face value, marijuana prohibition has done far more harm to far more people than marijuana ever could."_
_“The anti-marijuana campaign is a cancerous tissue of lies, undermining law enforcement, aggravating the drug problem, depriving the sick of needed help and suckering well intentioned conservatives and countless frightened parents.”_
*- William F. Buckley Jr. (American conservative author & commentator)*

_"The illegality of cannabis is outrageous, an impediment to full utilization of a drug which helps produce the serenity and insight, sensitivity and fellowship so desperately needed in this increasingly mad and dangerous world."_
*- Dr. Carl Sagan (American Cosmologist, Astrobilologist, author & science communicator)*

_“You bet I did -— and I enjoyed it.”_ ….when asked if he had ever smoked marijuana.
*- Michael Bloomberg (New York City Mayor)*

_"Studies have consistently failed to establish the existence of a link between the harshness of a country’s drug laws and its levels of drug use."_
*- Kofi Annan (U.N. Secretary General)*

_"Pot is a better drug than alcohol. I’ll prove it to you. You’re at a ball game or a concert, and someone’s really violent and aggressive and obnoxious, are they drunk or are they smoking pot?"_
_“Why is pot against the law? It wouldn’t be because anyone can grow it, and therefore you can’t make a profit off it, would it?”_
_“…It grows naturally upon our planet. Doesn’t the idea of making nature against the law seem to you a bit … unnatural?”_
*-Bill Hicks (Satirist, Social Critic, Stand-Up Comedian)*

_"If the words "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" don’t include the right to experiment with your own consciousness, then the Declaration of Independence isn’t worth the hemp it was written on."_
*- Terence McKenna (American ethnobotanist, author, advocate for responsible use of natural psychedelic plants)*
