It’s high time that Biden legalizes marihuana, the situation is ridiculous.
I myself use it because I have horrible reactions to legal prescription drugs, and as a (male) victim of domestic abuse I need something to help me to calm down before going to sleep.
Thank God it has been legal here in the Netherlands for a long time. And nobody has negative experiences compared to if it was illegal.

The reason it’s not legal federally has to do with alcohol, tobacco and pharmaceutical lobbies//cartels and not any real risk to people’s health. In states where it was legalized, these lobbies/cartels pumped money into campaigns to frighten voters into believing that legalizing marijuana would turn their states into drug nightmares. The irony of the argument was not lost on voters.
I will say that I tried medical marijuana for migraines and it worked for awhile but then I developed thunderclap headaches and couldn’t use marijuana anymore for any reason. I don’t tolerate opioids either so it’s non-narcotic pain relief for me which is safer all around anyway.

Legalize federally. It’s the only fair thing for our justice system and citizens of the United States. I too am a veteran with a disability and have been told many, many times over the years by many different doctors, that they wish they could prescribe cannabis, but can’t. Instead, I am left with taking daily medications that have terrible side effects and can cause long term harm. It also doesn’t effectively treat my illness as Cannabis absolutely would.

It’s about time. We need more validity and reliability evidence of the effectiveness of CBD for pain management and other mental illnesses. Big Pharma has taken over producing a society of addicted zombies…providing the same drugs that all too often increase suicidal ideation. It was made illegal 85 yrs ago based on lies(something politicians are actually good at), politics and big business.

A V.A. doctor lied right to my face about the medicinal properties of cannabis. When I pointed out all the studies and research that said otherwise, he got mad and pointed out that he was an M.D. I asked if those letters precluded him from lying. Our doctor/patient relationship ended that day.
