I’m very happy to hear of this bill and that it’s bi-partisan. I appreciate Senator Klobuchar’s work and all those who co-sponsored the bill to insure our electoral count works more smoothly and in a fair way on certification day.

Next, I hope Congress changes the way pardons work. No President should be able to issue ANY pardons, after they are lost an election. Then, on top of that, there should be a set of ethics and rules to govern who gets a pardon and how that goes down. Also, there must be a written record, recorded, with multiple people who sign off from various career positions (not appointed positions), including at least 2 US career attorneys, 1 judge and whomever else has jurisdiction.
