I smoke weed regularly but to be high all day everyday just to get through it mentally is a problem.

Truth is, everyone who smokes weed does it for individual reasons. The effect it has on one person will be different to someone else. I’ve smoked for 40 plus years. (I first smoked spliff year he was born). My reasons for using it, I believe to be a way of dealing with earlier traumatic events I experienced. These events at the time seemed trivial.

It’s only through self reflection that I have concluded my earlier traumatic experiences would have contributed to my reckless approach to alcohol, weed and a whole host of other narcotic substances. My alcohol journey ended in 2001. It’s only dawning on me now, that in fact, weed has progressively caused me to go more and more inward. It also exacerbates feelings of anxiety. I realize now that I’ve used it to to suppress those emotional injuries. I’ve only very recently made a conscious effort to stop. I’m already feeling better for making that change. This is after less than 2 weeks. I’ve a long way to go before I can say that I’ve beaten the habit.

I wonder if Seth will be saying the same things about this particular lifestyle choice when he hits 60. Maybe he’s one of the more fortunate stoners. I wish him all the best on his own particular journey. I would argue in my particular case, I haven’t been so lucky. It has a habit of creeping up on you. I would probably have agreed with what he said, if I was still back in my 40s. I would hang out with friends and come up with amazingly creative ideas whilst high on the Mary Jane, back in the day, just like he is able to now!

At the risk of sounding judgmental, I feel sorry for young kids who will watch this and look up to this guy. He sounds like he smokes weed everyday and sausage party looks like it was written by someone who smoked weed everyday.

It’s sad that addiction is celebrated and encouraged by our government.
Dumb down the masses and they will be easier to control… remember that kids

he doesnt need it – he thinks he does, he doesnt , no one does. hes addicted obviously. quitting is hard but at the end of the day its not good for you.

  15. @simonshotter8960 on April 7, 2024 at 7:47 am

I gave up daily smoking weed after about 15 years of it.

I feel much better not having to think strategically when I could smoke surrounding family day outs etc.

No more worrying about getting more and whether it would be good or not. Saving money at the end of the month to ensure I had enough for every day. Although I was capable which smoking and I don’t think it was a toll on my day to day, it’s definitely more empowering being in the position I am in now.

I never thought I could give up but when push came to shove and I had to, it was easy.

    Yep me too 😊

  17. @oo0RECON0oo on April 7, 2024 at 7:50 am

How do you know if it improved your life if you have been smoking it non stop since you were 20?

    Sausage party sucked btw.

  18. @thethinkingcaveman on April 7, 2024 at 7:51 am

It’s simple. Everyone is different. If weed is great for you, use it. If weed isn’t great for you, don’t use it. Also, test things like dosage, time of day, methods of consumption. If it still isn’t for you, just stop.

I could remember several years ago, cigarettes addiction actually destroyed my life. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.

  33. @arizona5234 on April 7, 2024 at 8:11 am

Interesting topic. it seems like smoking weed is beneficial for Seth. I’ve noticed certain improvements but I prefer my mind when I”m sober. I’m sure genetics play a major role in influencing how THC affects your brain

  35. @jpm5955 on April 7, 2024 at 8:13 am

I smoked weed daily for over 16 years. I did come up with a lot of funny ideas and creativity. However, now that I am ready for love I don’t need it anymore. "All you need is love" (Beatles). Everything else is I want. You can still have stoner humour and not smoke weed because I have the memories I don’t require to continually smoke it. I reckon my brain was about at 50% capacity. Plus all the time wasted smoking weed and money. It actually makes life harder. Relaxation is cool but love is better than drugs. ❤. Connection with God and family is better than smoking weed. You have to try to break the cycle. I’ve quit for over two weeks. A love partner wants you to be your best, not drugged up that you slow. I reckon you could come up with twice as many movies and maybe even influence more positive funny ideas. Drugs is for b4 U get married and single. When you’re ready for a family you need to put down the ganja for family and be the best self for your love partner.

  36. @sambridges6647 on April 7, 2024 at 8:15 am

It’s crazy to hear that weed can make so many peoples lives incredible. Because it made mine a living hell, got diagnosed with psychosis from smoking marijuana back in 2018. I also was taking other drugs (ketamine, mdma) but not as much as I was smoking. but I was smoking weed on the daily and even tho I always wanted a joint, the anxiety and paranoia whilst being high was terrible. Maybe it was the strain I was smoking? Maybe my brain wasn’t developed and wasn’t processing the psychoactive chemicals properly….but one thing I do know is that if I ever went back to smoking weed. I’ll get sectioned or even worse pass away.

  37. @ciera_danyel on April 7, 2024 at 8:17 am

My only regret is that I wish I could’ve started smoking weed in my early 20s… I’d be a different person, for the better. I can for sure say that weed has saved my life.

  38. @GhostC01 on April 7, 2024 at 8:17 am

too all the people out there that smoke weed or have smoked weed depending on where your from how pure the weed is etc can you be like seth it appears that he can smoke weed everyday and not have any mental health problems im from the uk and the bud we get over here is full of all these different chemicals so for example myself and many people ik that smoke weed and have done everyday for a long time all end up suffering with severe mental health issues i love weed but i am trying to quit because i’ve recognised that it’s making me ill mentally

Rogen is a one in a million. 99% of people who smoke all day do absolutely nothing with their lives.

  42. @CatSter_ on April 7, 2024 at 8:21 am

Imagine what aby psychologist would say watching this- he ia an addict, finding "perfect" exuses about why its totally ok to be an addict.

  43. @donna4047 on April 7, 2024 at 8:25 am

Im sorry but all of this "equating downsides" to usung cannabis is absurd. If you are DOWN its got nothing to do with the weed youre smoking. Weed makes people happy. If you are smoking weed all day and youre unhappy you PROBABLY suffer with clinical depression. You can jedi-mind-f&k yourself into absolutely ANYTHING. The 🧠 is the most powerful organ in the body and life us all just a state of that 🧠. If i told you all day every day that your socks were bad for you thats what you would start to adopt as "your truth". Im going to sum this up the best way i know how to. Some of us are 🐑. Some of us are shepherds. I am the latter. Cannabis prohibition is about money and politics. The medicine lie was adopted to push that money/greed narrative along more easily. Its a joke, comical really, that it was even possible to convince BILLIONS OF PEOPLE of these made up lies that had and remain to have ZERO BASIS IN REALITY. its a testament to the fact that most humans are that 🐑 type. Weird stuff.

  44. @KFredrick-mi8qf on April 7, 2024 at 8:25 am

I think Seth would be an instant radio, professional narrating legend. It sounds like he sends his voice to the gym. For smoking that much erb…the voice sounds solid. The way a weed pipe for instance, clogs with resin and needs cleaned…the human body is an amazing thing to handle that. Thank you God🙏

  45. @user-lr3vu4rq9p on April 7, 2024 at 8:28 am

No way, he does?? Wow he and I got something in common😁

  46. @CaptPicard81 on April 7, 2024 at 8:29 am

Man I wish I could like weed the way Seth does. It just doesn’t do much for me for some reason. Like I can enjoy it if I’m watching a movie or something but otherwise it just makes me feel kinda weird and slow lol

  47. @stalkingbosses_corruptcops2504 on April 7, 2024 at 8:29 am

Weed has helped me know what’s crazy? They had me on Clonidine,Clonidone, adderal, zyprexa, rim Ron, Effexor, trazadone, trazadine. No doctor will prescribe me medication that I was not n as a kid. So wtf anyway became a alcoholic thanks usa

I understand the benefits of smoking weed and no judgment whatsoever but I would wonder how I would really be without it…. If you smoke your whole life you never know the difference. I wish I could do it, but it makes me feel like the FBI is after me …why…idk
