There seems to be a tremendous # of people, WAY 2 many, that seem to only have the slightest control of their vehicle.
When something goes wrong they seem to freeze & things get worse from there. Notice as you watch FAIL vids how
many cars will hit something & you see the car either -does not stop OR -the engine races full tilt. I was taught that
when something goes wrong behind the wheel you !STOP! you get off the gas & stomp & I mean STOMP on the brake
to bring your crash parade to a halt before someone gets killed. Has worked for me for 70 years I guess young drivers

I was sitting at a red light in the right lane and a fire truck was coming up behind me fast. There was no place for me to go so I did the only thing I could do. I pulled over at an angle and was in front of the car in the next lane. After the fire truck went by I backed back into my own lane. Since there was no room to my right to pull over I didn’t have a choice.

There was a couple that I didn’t agree with. The one with the fire engine is correct. You can ask a driver to break the law, emergency or not you can’t go through a red light. That being said there was room for the driver to pull forward to give more room without going through the red light. That why you normally see emergency service turn off there lights and sirens in that position.
