I’m originally from Colorado and now live in California so I’ve gotten used to having it around legally. I think it’s been good for both states. The UK is usually more progressive than the US so it being illegal there is crazy.

weed equals sex for 3 -4 times longer folks who doesn’t enjoy that !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People who say legalisation would harm the youth are ignorant. If cannabis was legal, they would have to be at least 18 to purchase it, at this point in time anyone can buy it from a dodgy bloke in their town. The strains would be weaker and regulated, less kids would be getting into it, and more importantly less kids would be getting groomed into selling it by county lines gangs. Take the power away from the criminals & get it legalised.

  5. PoshMurder on May 8, 2023 at 8:10 am

Background on me: 34 years old, born and raised in the UK yet spent over 3 years living in America (with experience purchasing cannabis from a recreationally legal State), and currently in the UK settled back. I have been consuming cannabis for the past 17 years, first recreationally and now mostly medically.

I’m for legalisation, obviously, however there are many reasons that most people here fail to understand, that is with legalisation comes the opportunity for educating people about cannabis, rather than relying on the public to follow propaganda such as the ‘skunk’ argument.

In regards to the propaganda term "Skunk": there was no ‘super strain’ of weed, there never was. Every cultivar of cannabis has different attributes, from the rounded nugs of a genuine OG Kush lineage, to the long spears on a Neville’s Haze to the very effects of the flowers that are smoked/vaped/etc.
The biggest issue is when the Skunk cultivar was popular to growers, for attributes such as natural mould and pest resistance (great breeding stock for that), the effects produced were less than favourable to other people. The people who found the effects less than favourable thought ‘oh there is suddenly a new type of weed’ that is causing these effects, when in reality there is an almost infinite number of possibilities for variations within Cannabis that we are still finding today, and with a dealer you’re usually only offered one or two of them.

This issue is greatly mitigated when you can find a great array of different cultivars/strains to choose from, alongside genuine lab tests to verify varying levels of THC content.
If you’re the person who doesn’t bode well with a high THC strain, in a legal market there are a multitude of low THC options available. Want a 1:1 THC:CBD strain? Easily found, in fact some dispensaries in the local area may even deliver.

I hope one day people realise that a lot of the issues they have, with Cannabis, come directly as a result of it being illegal. And let’s be honest, having them treated like alcohol and/or tobacco makes sense for a very good reason: to protect the youth.
Kids have always been curious about substances, let us be honest here in that the only difference in our attitudes is that them sneaking in a bottle or two of alcohol is ‘meant to be considered normal’ for a young person. Alcohol kills, cigarettes kill, but cannabis? Cannabis hasn’t had one single death attributed to cannabis alone in the entire (over 5,000 years) of recorded history of consumption. I’d be much more comfortable knowing that cannabis is more of an option for their curiosities than something much more dangerous and deadly.

Dont have a clue the resin the the trichomes (crystal) which is very potent.

  7. TheStick420 on May 8, 2023 at 8:13 am

Can tell who has and hasn’t been in these settings, in the UK the youth are the ones smoking it the most and selling it anyway. Legalising it would reduce crime, lower alcohol and benzo issues and would in my opinion slow down the street market because the smokers want a cleaner/better produced product

  8. Matt Aktive (Ez Sounds) on May 8, 2023 at 8:14 am

Skunk is not new, and is just a strain. You can get badly grown skunk that sucks dick to smoke and resin thats high in THC that will fuck you into next week.

Resin is not a cleaner version of herbal cannabis either. Its cut with all kinds of joining agents to create a solid block, hence the street names solid and pollen.
I dont understand the point of telling people don’t smoke when you have never tried it and have no justified evidence other than what your nan says. Side note its not addictive. tests have proven that, its the tobacco that European smokers mix it with that is or the routine of smoking.

At the end of the day who’s right is it to say that another person should not make a lifestyle choice or not when they are not harming anyone else (if legalised and grown with good practice) How would a non smoker feel about being told they can’t have a glass of wine after their dinner? It has just as many negative side effects if not more.

    boy that smokes is hot

  10. ascGazz on May 8, 2023 at 8:16 am

“The long-term it could be quite bad actually, thinking about it” (not critical thinking though)

Thinking about it, won’t tell you anything, looking up evidence from countries or states have legalised it for years by now, is what you need to do to gain accurate knowledge.

Thinking about things in your own head, doesn’t solve a damn thing, it only shows us what goes on inside your head and how cynical you might be.

This video is really fucking annoying to be honest, and I’m a medical cannabis user.

  11. Jack Smith on May 8, 2023 at 8:18 am

Cannabis dosent make you paranoid, it’s getting caught that prangs some people out 😂 am I wrong though? I’ve never had anything like that but know of a few people who worry about getting caught having a smoke. It’s madness, image working full time, contributing to society, being a descent human being but being labeled a criminal for smoking a flower 😂 but people can legally go out daily and get shit face drunk 🤷‍♂️

  12. hmalik on May 8, 2023 at 8:19 am

It should definately be legalised, it is ridiculous that it isn’t. Most or all drugs should be legalised everywhere. Most of them aren’t that bad for your health. The government shouldn’t dictate people’s bodies and lives. Legalistion would reduce crime and make it safer. It wouldn’t increase youth use or youth harm.

  13. Mixoh on May 8, 2023 at 8:20 am

the weed in UK is not real weed though. Its the most shittiest and the most harmful version of weed one can find.

  14. GeoAuziePoetry on May 8, 2023 at 8:20 am

The funny thing is , the lass talking about not smoking that skunk stuff but being OK smoking hash, just shows how much the media propaganda has messed with people’s heads. Hash is far stronger than bud , being that hash is a form of concentrate. Notice no mention of dabs, which is far stronger than hash.

  15. Chris Sniper on May 8, 2023 at 8:25 am

Always the muslins with the buzz kill never going to get legalised with Sunak stinking up the joint who the hell voted him anyway🤦🏻‍♂️🤡

  16. Richard Longmore on May 8, 2023 at 8:28 am

It’s better kept illegal. Once the corporation gets involved it gets the gamma radiation treatment

  19. Cosmic Wanderer on May 8, 2023 at 8:32 am

There is just no way in any reasonable world that Alcohol is still legal and cannabis isnt.

If cannabis is deemed dangerous and class b. Then Alcohol should be classed as A or even worse.

They want Alcohol because it keeps the population down – lots of people dying all the time from it.
    Nobody dies from weed.

  20. Evelyn Diaz on May 8, 2023 at 8:37 am

    wow

  21. rainbowtrout97 on May 8, 2023 at 8:39 am

it’s only the old fudddy duddies in government that are against it yet you can buy alcohol and cause so much harm to yourself and others, cannabis is less harmful , I use it regulary for insomnia and it calms me down !!!!

Really great video Arnaud. Nice to see you ask a really wide sample of different ages and genders of people. Also nice to see the vast majority in support of legalisation.

Not sure people should be admitting drug use, they live to regret that in the future

Just think on the tax money that could be pumped back into the NHS

  30. ascGazz on May 8, 2023 at 8:47 am

CANCARD does NOT make it legal to smoke it.

It only shows you qualify for medical cannabis, but it is not permission for anything. It asks the police officer to consider the situation, literally nothing more.

  31. Berlin2kemily on May 8, 2023 at 8:47 am

Thanks wish you choices are to win not lose it could be free on NHS England and leaders need to lead

  32. Andrew on May 8, 2023 at 8:48 am

Lebanon or black… Hahahaha she means hash and I agree. Proper hash is good

  33. deadman walking on May 8, 2023 at 8:49 am

This was so funny. What we should be smoking is soap bar because the weed is bad for you? 🤣🤣🤣

  34. Jdiggity Brown on May 8, 2023 at 8:49 am

People that go on about kids doing it well they still do but have to go to a criminal to get it which can be dangerous for several reasons so legalising it would make it a safer drug as no contamination and not dealing with the criminal themselves that also might try ti get you on to other drugs

  35. Gianni Hassan on May 8, 2023 at 8:51 am

    Bruish people he said😂😂😂

  36. alcompadre on May 8, 2023 at 8:51 am

  37. ForbiddenHerbs on May 8, 2023 at 8:51 am

It don’t matter if they do or not I’ll always be smoking every type of kush there is in the UK fuck the system 🎉

  38. puressonly on May 8, 2023 at 8:51 am

And cannabis legalisation won’t put any impact on the young population because the younger population is already fucked😂

  39. luke on May 8, 2023 at 8:52 am

Girl at the end.. its already so easy for the youth to get hold of weed anyway so why not just legalise it and let everyone do there own fing

  40. puressonly on May 8, 2023 at 8:52 am

Our bodies rely on cannabis terpenes do the research it’s facts

  41. Annoying Archie on May 8, 2023 at 8:52 am

  45. Lewis Hawkes on May 8, 2023 at 8:57 am

Why don’t the police focus on real criminals like murderers and rapists not someone that wants to help them selves medically

  46. dylan humphries on May 8, 2023 at 8:57 am

Here in Canada been legalized for like 3-4 years now and it’s great

  47. Eggo on May 8, 2023 at 8:58 am

Somebody get that lady a z of Lebanese hash 😂

  48. Maxaroo on May 8, 2023 at 9:00 am

Some people really don’t know sh*t about weed…

  49. Scotland Submerged on May 8, 2023 at 9:03 am

That lady that said the weed she had was weaker and more mellow when she was younger …. guess what Alcohol is legal and you can choose your strength , the illegality of drugs is what makes them stronger …
Its the same with weed , some people want to get absolutely smashed the same as when they go out and get drunk on spirits…
Others maybe just want 1 ice cold beer after a hard day …. that could be your equivalent 5-10% strains…. Legality Brings Choice and Options and information.

The last girl has it all backwards and needs educating , the fact that its ILLEGAL it has no barriers to access that means the youth have unlimited unsupervised and pressured access to it, its easier for young people to buy drugs than alcohol.

  50. A F on May 8, 2023 at 9:04 am

Every drug should be made legal in the UK because, cannabis, opium, LSD and magic mushrooms Inc heroin etc can be controlled and everything would be cleaner and more importantly it will help to cut out the dealer’s.
That lady in the wheelchair ? Says she agrees with medical marijuana and there was me thinking that this will get you high to
