SMALL AUTOFLOWERS? Main Reason Why & How to Maximize Yields with Autos

Autoflowering cannabis plants have a shorter lifespan than traditional cannabis plants, which means they need specific care to maximize their yield potential. To grow large and maximize yield from your autoflowers, it’s crucial to choose the right genetics, use balanced nutrients and perfect the grow environment but one of the most important triggers for flowering is something you might not expect. The key to success when growing autoflowers is understand what influences flowering and to provide them with the right conditions and care to achieve their maximum yield potential. If you ignore the main reason why autoflowers flower, you will have small autos and in turn have really low yields. Avoid this rookie mistake when growing autoflowers.

  2. @zebulonreynaud919 on April 3, 2024 at 8:24 am

so it can be preferable to overwater auto a little at start because she will do less roots and more grow (if not autos really developp roots a lot at start)

  3. @skyguy420d on April 3, 2024 at 8:25 am

Are there any autoflower seed banks that accept PayPal or something like that

  4. @ptmmatssc13 on April 3, 2024 at 8:25 am

I found transplanting causes issues so I start my autos in "Cow Pots" . Then simply put the whole pot into the container I plan for them to finish in.
The great thing about the Cow Pots is they break down and provide feed to the plant while it grows. It has made a huge difference from my old way of starting and transplanting.

Why not soil? That’s my go to…. more nutrients and yea, nutrients, mf.

  6. @Baileyville112 on April 3, 2024 at 8:26 am

Great information ‼️ I didn’t see either of the "big autoflower" guys provide information and demonstration like this! 😔 Can’t wait to start my next run.

  7. @Catch_u_reloadn on April 3, 2024 at 8:26 am

I don’t call mine soil I call it medium. I use promix and Gaia green and a little bit of perlite cuz the Promix has it in it already. Some worm castings and that’s it. I would like to try dwc sometime

  8. @firstnamelastname9612 on April 3, 2024 at 8:27 am

I can vouch for the autos in hydro. Did 4 in a 3×3 thinking theyd grow like they did in soil. Nope. Theyre all big enough to fill the tent by themselves 😂

  9. @LOVEisACTIONABLE on April 3, 2024 at 8:28 am

This is crazy bc I always seen ppl with some crazy autos and mine literally looked exactly like your small soil side , as I have never grown in anything but soil and plastic pots. It’s literally a terrible method to try and equate for watering and also always grew autos in smaller pots to save on wasted soil but I definitely will try this out soon

your experiment is a bit pointless becuse of phenotypes….

  11. @GaryInHell on April 3, 2024 at 8:30 am

Plant I just harvested look good but I’m not seeing any true buds just bunch of sugar leaves and fan leaves but did have issue with the plant. Other plant that’s same strain has lot of buds but the hairs been white for long time

  16. @nordicwarrior9566 on April 3, 2024 at 8:35 am

Thanks for the info, first grow here and Im using 5 gallon pots with coco perlite mix and mine started flowering right at 4-5 weeks. Kept in same pot whole time and about 3 weeks from harvest now, she’s still filling in, hopefully much more I’m worried my lights are not strong enough for dense bud formation

  18. @TheDemonGamerOfFleetStreet on April 3, 2024 at 8:38 am

Bollocks im gonna sub this channel its actually alright pretty much straight to the point I like that. Thats some good going 6 ounces on one plant that was some hefty buds too. I would love to have a go at hydro and do a side by side comparison with coco and perlite just to seen the comparisons myself I would love to do that. Good video man. 👍

  19. @reilley7734 on April 3, 2024 at 8:39 am

i want to grow for the first time, havent done any research on hydro yet but can i use aquarium water? nitrates are good for aquatic plants im assuming it would be the same for earth plants?

  20. @KHAN-qp4eo on April 3, 2024 at 8:40 am

Thank you for this helpful video🙏 , I wonder that can I defoliate a big fan leave on my auto plant?

  21. @UpInSmokePrimo on April 3, 2024 at 8:41 am

Cut it with alfalfa hay with dark light soil I get mine soaked in molasses and several minerals and other hay strains like barley and clovers Its a blend for horses you can score it at tractor supply

    ERMMMMMM……….NOPE YA DOPE.

  27. @nataniela5256 on April 3, 2024 at 8:50 am

After my first grow i realised autos are pointless. It’s not exactly hard to switch light cycles. I mean if you can sort everything else with an auto (correct ph, temp, humid etc etc) then photos are a peez of pizz and you get full control. no brainer.

  28. @johnellis2411 on April 3, 2024 at 8:51 am

Very interesting! Never heard about downside of using soil for auto’s. Next time I will up my perlite at least!

Dah… this is widely known by home gardeners. Root bound forces flowering.

most useful 2 minute autoflower video ever

  39. @Stuugie. on April 3, 2024 at 9:04 am

I’ve never heard anyone else say that about autoflowers, nobody brought up the root thing for maximizing them, though I probably missed it. Still, thanks for putting these tips out there

  40. @ALLforROME on April 3, 2024 at 9:05 am

I get amazing results in 5 gallon fabric pots using a foxfarm soil blend. Been doin this for years! And I always run 8-10 plants in 2 tents everytime so my end yield is outstanding considering it’s all just for me. I run AF cause the harvest is so focking fast. I get 4 a year! Roughly every 75 days. Can’t do that with photos. I recently bought a press and started making my own rosin cause my stash is outta control..lol! I "highly" recommend y’all to do this. My auto flower rosin is the real MVP! Have a great day sir. 🎉

  41. @el-sadiko_3893 on April 3, 2024 at 9:09 am

I saw a guy growing autos on cups no hydroponic and those looked like godzila buds

  42. @BigBerias on April 3, 2024 at 9:09 am

im confused. Are the hydro plants topped? If so, you cant compare them. Just not. My topped auto’s flowered later than the ones i did not.

  43. @bigwalker5429 on April 3, 2024 at 9:10 am

Good deal. A video that actually taught something no bullsh**. Thanks

  44. @purpfrog19 on April 3, 2024 at 9:13 am

Are there any recommendations for a certain brand of soil to grow autoflowers? (I can’t afford to make my own soil) Thanks!

  45. @dank4720 on April 3, 2024 at 9:13 am

    Whats the trick to coco.
Ive tried every time with 1 pot coco the rest soil.
I treat it differently. I water everyday, i even have a moisture meter in it. But everything i plant into coco dies. My soil is well mixed. Get good results. But swapped to photo, as most of my autos do end up small. Around 32g. My photos give me at least 50g a plant with 3weeks veg

  46. @mattprice3755 on April 3, 2024 at 9:14 am

My banana punch auto in 25l pot with coco and perlite give me
between 240 and 280g every time other ones around 200 g. Using canna coco nutes.
