Marijuana is as abundant as dandelion flowers… this is so obvious and I’m glad, better prices for consumers.

  2. Just one of many on July 16, 2022 at 9:54 pm

It’s not reefer madness. It’s corporate greed.

  3. mdmphd on July 16, 2022 at 9:54 pm

Yep, as soon as there was money involved, taxes kicked in. Greed. Make it pay. Very sad to hear. Sorry I didn’t stumble on this sooner.

  4. Wayzor on July 16, 2022 at 9:54 pm

Grow your own at home. It’s not rocket-science lol.

  5. Just a Kid Trying to Make it on July 16, 2022 at 9:54 pm

$300 a pound? I highly doubt my dealers making that type of margins

  6. 007 squirrel dehne on July 16, 2022 at 9:56 pm

Lower the cost of your marijuana and you will survive use common sense in this world today which are a lot of people are lacking cheaper prices mean more people means more business means more money for your company mind blown I know I wish it was legal here in Tennessee that way I wouldn’t have to drive to Illinois stuff this government is not United

  7. NahngGrowsDirt on July 16, 2022 at 9:59 pm

The "legalization" was just for government control.
As for small scale growers looking to fight back against the large scale, grow better cannabis. Stop growing what barely counts as mids and trying to get top shelf prices. It all take between 12 and 20ish weeks to grow whether mids or top shelf.

  10. Buck Roo on July 16, 2022 at 10:05 pm

We all knew this would happen . The government will never allow something to happen util they can profit off of it first .

  11. Jules King on July 16, 2022 at 10:05 pm

  12. William Fowler on July 16, 2022 at 10:05 pm

  13. Growing Up Dank on July 16, 2022 at 10:07 pm

    Support your local home growers!👍

  14. X Neo on July 16, 2022 at 10:07 pm

This a lie and only effect new trash growers. Just because it’s legal. Don’t expect to jump in growing top shelf herb. If you grow the best people will find you for your product. This coming from a grower.

Sell it on the streets for lower price then shop.. without taxes.. like it should be , jokersmokers

  21. Mixtape Magic on July 16, 2022 at 10:22 pm

You can thank the decades long, war on drugs for the stigma behind marijuana. The federal government has managed to scare & screw plenty of good people, while ALWAYS bowing to the large million dollar corporate interests.

  22. S7V7NFîV5 on July 16, 2022 at 10:23 pm

All that taxing yet the parks, streets and public environment still look the same if not worst.

  23. Badland Genetix on July 16, 2022 at 10:24 pm

I’ve worked in the industry for 16 years I’m happy to say I’m still here but all the states of let tax a product ment for the dying and epileptic. I don’t understand how $400 an oz is justified. Much less half that. I can’t ask dying people for money but that’s also why I’m not rich.

Government was formed to be a benefit for the people. You should let them know.

  28. Marty Shannon on July 16, 2022 at 10:30 pm

Hahahahhhhhhhahaha !!!!!!! You thought you were going to make money hand over fist. Don’t blame the Large Corporate Farms. They are following the State Law. One License to one acre of Dope. Do the math on all of the taxes collected to include fees. California still making bank. Can’t help if there’s overproduction of dope. And you also found out farming has risks. Be glad the Stockbrokers and Commodity Market people aren’t so involved like soybean, corn and beef markets. Welcome to Farming !!!!!!

  29. Matt Fubar on July 16, 2022 at 10:30 pm

"Legalization" was meant to profit big business and the state government… period!

  30. Issac Pearson on July 16, 2022 at 10:30 pm

If they grew a pair 🥜 and sold it on the street for great prices they could get it off
Better get a Rabbi ✡️ to play with those production numbers 💰

so is the rest of the country… fbj..

  34. Gotham Networks on July 16, 2022 at 10:32 pm

It’s actually quite simple concepts here. Let’s just compare this to post prohibition. Had they organized it this way then a six pack of beer would cost the modern equivalent of $75. That would have resulted in nearly no tax money just black market sales, and they weren’t that stupid. Fast forward to this situation don’t you see how completely ignorant the people of America are today? Look how wildly successful the retail stores are. My prediction it won’t last people will get sick and tired of paying 50 times more than they should for something as harmless as marijuana harmless compared to alcohol. But don’t you see as long as people are stupid enough to pay that price and as long as the poor growers like this lady claiming she should get 1,600 per pound or stupid enough to think they should charge that much you see until all of these people start to think rationally nothing’s going to change but I’m sure it makes no difference what they think it’s what future generations will.

They are full of it. They are sending thousands of pounds a month just to Florida.

  48. CrymInAction on July 16, 2022 at 10:49 pm

Mega farms are killing this industry. In Oregon, we heard that the taxes on cannabis would help roads and schools etc.. Now in 2022 they are the worst they have ever been. I really wish there was more unity of farmers on the West Coast. We need a strong presence to be heard at the state levels, as well as the Federal level in the future.
