  2. mark thomas on May 16, 2022 at 4:14 pm

they look so good bro nice do you use tap water ? do you ph water/nutes? i’m a new grower anything would help

  3. Ricky Siler on May 16, 2022 at 4:16 pm

Your humidity is way too high

  4. mr stealyowife on May 16, 2022 at 4:18 pm

Too much salt that isn’t being used in the rest of the plant from over fertilization is being stored on the tip of the leaves while the leaves try to eject it from the plant. Go a little more easy on ur nutes man that’s what your plants are saying

  5. FriendsInLowPlaces on May 16, 2022 at 4:18 pm

Try this 50% Coco 40% ocean Forrest 10% worm castings with microhyzae in it, equals BOOOOOM huge buds 👍🏻😁💯

  6. Jamesmichael Cabrera on May 16, 2022 at 4:18 pm

Dirty Coco maybe too much salt on it

  7. 0 0 on May 16, 2022 at 4:20 pm

Seems like you’ve been running on pH issues, brother. Remember that Soil = 6.2-6.5pH and Coco = 5.2-5.8pH. Burnt tips are a deficiency meaning pH isnt allowing the root to absorb the nutrients.

  8. Kenny D on May 16, 2022 at 4:20 pm

Dont have to flush if you use dry amendments keep ph at 6.8 never have problem coco loco is the shit and it’s triple washed before it hits the bag

  9. Duane Waller on May 16, 2022 at 4:21 pm

That one plant is sensitive to nutes.

  10. Ninti B on May 16, 2022 at 4:21 pm

Question ! When you use the Fox Farm Soil, did you mix anything with it or just by itself ? And did you use it the entire time for you process of the plant ?

  13. Vinnie Searl on May 16, 2022 at 4:23 pm

Coco is a bigger producer than soil when used right you need good quality coco and coco nutrients btw I got exact same setup sf2000 and goove thermometer thing

Hey bro!! you’re trying to grow in Coco but using fertilizer and nutrients designed for soil!!! You feed Ccoo TOTALLY DIFFERENT THAN SOIL!!! THATS Your PROB.

  16. Brad Brinegar on May 16, 2022 at 4:28 pm

If I start from seed I go directly in the ocean forest. Main reason is I plant in the pots I plan on using. From growing autos in the past I try to stay away from transplanting. But with doing clones from photos I’ll put them in the coco. Then transplant to the ocean forest. Ocean forest is a little hot for freshly rooted clones imo. Seeds adapt better to it. Been thinking about cutting it 50/50 with some happy frog and trying that.

I recommend you watch “mrcanucksgrow” YouTube channel.

He mainly uses coco with slow release nutrients like 4-4-4 and 2-8-4. He also explains what he does when he notices certain deficiencies. Hell sometimes add bat guano and mychorizae.

Just search mrcanucksgrow coco during flower. You’ll see how he uses solid nutrients and top dresses his coco.

Best bud channel out there IMO

Your treating coco like its soil

  19. Yeng Xiong on May 16, 2022 at 4:30 pm

    Nutrient burn

  20. Jesus Mendoza on May 16, 2022 at 4:32 pm

    Very clean set up,good job

  21. Mark Wells on May 16, 2022 at 4:33 pm

Soil grows equal high terpenes profile, coco grows although vigorous amount to next to no terpenes, if you like your product to smell strong stick with soil.

  22. Chirag Patel on May 16, 2022 at 4:37 pm

when u grow in coco u always have run off meaning water coming out the pot = ur reseting ur coco media every time u water if a new grower understands this style of growing they will have great results.

  23. CmmnSenseRules on May 16, 2022 at 4:37 pm

To fix it…..test your pH of your Coco, you probably have lockout….if so, you can either flush for 3-5 days water only, then, allow to dry mostly, THEN test Coco pH again and adjust your water up or down to small amount of runoff, check your Run off pH and soil pH…..if u adjust correctly you should be good. But you can’t feed them the same!!!

  24. CmmnSenseRules on May 16, 2022 at 4:38 pm

Burned tips on Coco grow because you’re treating it (I assume) VERY VERY similar to a soil mix.

  25. River Doe on May 16, 2022 at 4:39 pm

Coco is all day better indoors for yield I would only grow soil if I didn’t want to water every day in flower

  26. NkxZomBieTriX on May 16, 2022 at 4:42 pm

1 minute in and I’m triggered. Don’t call them guys…. They’re female plants

  27. Landon Franklin on May 16, 2022 at 4:43 pm

The soil buffers ph the coco doesn’t could cause different nute uptake causing the burn

  28. renee tircuit on May 16, 2022 at 4:44 pm

You have mute burn in your coco plant. Just flush your coco. It will fix the mute burn

  29. ToeTagGaming on May 16, 2022 at 4:44 pm

the temp and humidity is kinda high & try and flush the coco out before potting it because of the salt content inside also try and get some fabric pots to prevent the plants from becoming root bound good job still though

  30. ThizzmanBeatz on May 16, 2022 at 4:45 pm

I have a question. I just got the mother coco coir+ perlite.

I recently planted a seed in the Coco Coir + Perilite blend in a small pot. Do i need ANY nutrients to make my seedling grow? I use distilled water to water my seedling. and if I do need nutrients , which would you recommend? like before I use PH balanced water like distilled water so i don’t know if i need nutrients in my water to feed my plant. my seedling just sprouted, it still has the seed head on it and I don’t want to kill my first plant as for i am a New grower

  33. Jay Ortiz on May 16, 2022 at 4:49 pm

What nutrients do you feed your plants during veg and flower?

  34. Joe Kidd on May 16, 2022 at 4:50 pm

Fox Farm Ocean Forest is the best. I don’t use it for herb. I grow fruit and vegetables in containers and they grow excellent.

  35. Bahnzilla on May 16, 2022 at 4:50 pm

When using coco, you want to flush it very well to get any salts out of it, then after flushing you want to buffer it, usually soak it in a 150% mixture of cal mag for 8 hours. Do that soak twice. After that then your coco should be mixed with some perlite, about 65% coco to 35% perlite. It should be good to go. You want to feed it every other watering, so do your trio of fertilizers on feeding, then just the recommended dose of cal mag with water for a watering. Of course PH every time. If you re still seeing nute burn, cut your nutrients in half.

I really recommend you trying it this way. You will love coco if you do it right. Pretty much can never be over watered. Just do some research on ph for coco, cause I think 6-7 is to high.

Also would love feedback from other people, as I am pretty new to this just have done a lot of research.

  36. jordan loera on May 16, 2022 at 4:52 pm

You need to use different ph when it comes to coco

  37. Andrew Neal on May 16, 2022 at 4:53 pm

Damn Jamaican, it’s Foxfarm, not Farmfox!

  38. Mando Johnson on May 16, 2022 at 4:54 pm

Question, when using ocean, do you add any of the fox farm nueitrients or are u feeding them with only water? Also whats your ph water level???

  39. Kaleb Billig on May 16, 2022 at 4:54 pm

Potassium toxicity is common because some coco has a significant amount of potassium, K toxicity can manifest either as a deficiency because it locks out N, P, or micro nutes… or it can manifest itself as burn because at first it appears like deficiency, then when you add more nutes they go right into burn

  40. Kevin F on May 16, 2022 at 4:56 pm

I had a grow shop advise to use a 50/50 blend of Fox Farm Ocean Forest and Mother Earth Coco Perlite, with some added worm castings. Would this be ok? Trying to grow indoor peppers in a tent.

  41. The GoldenChild on May 16, 2022 at 4:56 pm

I’d say you didn’t buffer/rinse your coco like you’re supposed too. Unbuffered coco contains tons of excess salts.

  42. Kolohe Lau on May 16, 2022 at 4:58 pm

Looks like nute lockout or heat stress.. possibly

And you don’t want nurse burn in flower. Fix it quick It quick

  47. Crawl Reyes on May 16, 2022 at 5:07 pm

Can I use nutrients that’s meant for coco medium on soil medium?

  48. Jack Scott on May 16, 2022 at 5:08 pm

You should put a 20 dollar camera in there…they have them at Walmart..they will stream to ur phone n you can check temps no matter where you are 😉

  49. Daniel Geci on May 16, 2022 at 5:09 pm

Bro fox farm is the worst product ever. There was a time a decade or more ago where ppl used it but it became inconsistent and often too hot. It really is a bad soil product I’d stay away from it before you get. Bad batch

  50. Colleen Madden on May 16, 2022 at 5:10 pm

Nutrient burn/toxicity I’d say for sure only thing makes sense if your light is 200watts at +18" at 75% light intensity if no bleaching of top leaves and only brown/yellow and appear burned tips, I did notice your hygrometer was reading out some high temps and humidity plants can handle more stress/food light with a good comfortable environment,. Thanks for video and happy growing!
