Spray Damage On Cannabis Leaves

Spray Damage On Cannabis Leaves

This is an example of damage/burn/phytotoxicity on the foliage of Cannabis plants. This was caused by a copper based fungicide, which is something copper is prone to doing if you use high enough rates. We go over what the symptoms look like, and how to distinguish it from nutritional problems. Leaf burn from sprays can occur with a wide variety of different products (not just copper or fungicides), so you want to know the symptoms. Always test out new products on a small number of plants before using on everything in case it turns out to cause damage. These are stock plants in vegetative photoperiod. Thanks for watching.

Can this damage also look like an orange type sap on the leaves?

  2. Lisa Dean on May 29, 2022 at 9:41 am

Spray your plants when your lights are off.You should never spray chemicals on foliage when your lights are on..

Pretty good vid. You explained what it is, but said the same thing over and over again. You did not explain if the leaf damage is permanent. You did say it not that big of a deal, so ok….. I do appreciate the vid.

The damaged leaves won’t get any worse or do any harm folks.but if you don’t like the look of them just take them off as part of defoliation.Worked for me.✌️

I sprayed my plant with water and hydrogen peroxide. I was using it as a powdery mildew preventive. Well, I was stupid and didn’t make sure it plant was completely dry. And my light burned little marks into the leaves. Since, I know what it is and not a Disease, will the yellow spot start to spread to my other leaves? Should I prune all the leave with the burn marks?

Been using seaweed extract with purified water from well ph to 6.26-6.36 not so white more brown little dead spots on leaves should i mist with just ph water? Other plant shows no signs growing beautifully. Both same strain from ilgm

  26. SNoWfLaKe_Da_BoSS on May 29, 2022 at 10:16 am

That’s from intense light being magnified through the water bubble isn’t it

  27. Reno Charran on May 29, 2022 at 10:18 am

Can flushing you plant with tap water with chlorine cause this as well?

  28. Lunkeroo Lew on May 29, 2022 at 10:19 am

  30. Steve Hamilton on May 29, 2022 at 10:20 am

Long story short, can the leaves be fixed, are the spots causing any real damage? To the final product I mean?

  31. Sir Drinks on May 29, 2022 at 10:21 am

Just a thought, if you spray them in sunlight that can focus the light and cause burns where the water droplets accumulate.

I just sprayed sink water on my plants with a spray bottle, obviously, and it did this! I’m pissed I didn’t think I’d have time to go get fresh water. But thanks I won’t do that again

  35. OUredneck on May 29, 2022 at 10:26 am

I had 2 North Thunder F*ck plants, that the top of plants (top 12”) were yellowing. I did a topical spray of gelated iron and Epson salt. In 2 weeks, tops were the same dark green color, as rest of plant. Later on, the plants then developed the white spots on the leaves. Thanks for the info! BTW; Your search tags are spot on. This video was top of search (”white spots on cannibas leaves”).

  40. DOCUDRAMA on May 29, 2022 at 10:32 am

The dead spots are usually you somehow got your nutrients on your leaves. Don’t let your nutrients touch your leaves

  41. Maksim Abramov on May 29, 2022 at 10:33 am

God bless you man!!! I allmost get heartattack … will never do it again. How I understand water drops make some sort of magnifying glass effect. As a result, burned a hole in leave.

  42. Gillyboy 1492 on May 29, 2022 at 10:35 am

So will these leaves infect the others?

  43. Joshua Jones on May 29, 2022 at 10:35 am

could this be from just water sprayed over a plant? I have similar issue and wasn’t sure if it was a disease or some pest.

  44. D S on May 29, 2022 at 10:36 am

Been mashing my head wondering what those little yellow spots/holes were. Left the lid off the res for an hour and the bubbles must have sprayed the underside of the leaves and thats burnt through.
    Cheers 👍
