Study finds link between cannabis use and heart attacks in young people
A new Canadian study shows the risk of heart attacks nearly doubles among adults under the age of 45 who use cannabis more than four times a month. Researchers say the findings don’t prove that cannabis causes heart attacks, but the study serves as a reminder that it is not a harmless substance.
