Legalize it and let’s find out!…no worse than soda pop or cheese burgers or cigarettes or booze.

  2. @1976ondy on April 7, 2024 at 7:32 am

Cannabis doesnt cause issues in the heart, the attitude of the people around smokers are the ones that cause the paranoia and stress on users, the fact that we still have to hide it and how people and family members use that excuse to demoralize your reputation cause you use that medicine. Never in history the government and corporations had spend so much money into just find the negative stuff on a natural product.

So they’ve been studying weed’s bad effects for 50 years, but now this American organization has taken 5 recent years and decided these are conclusive results? Lol

Surely not the new m-RNA "vaccines", right?

  6. @waxingcash7700 on April 7, 2024 at 7:35 am

Stress gives people 75% more health problems than cannabis .. and cannabis eliminates stress, so the math is still on the favor of yes to smoking and no to doubt and stress, ..

  7. @lorettanericcio-bohlman567 on April 7, 2024 at 7:35 am

I’ll take my chances. Gave up alcohol 37 years ago, smoke pot now and then. I’ll be 70 this year and doing extreme mountain biking. Just saying. Study this…

  8. @XX-qi5eu on April 7, 2024 at 7:38 am

Wait till they find out about the greater dangers of: alcohol, fast food/processed food and religion.

  9. @dorecannon2851 on April 7, 2024 at 7:38 am

Yeah yeah all designed to Create more taxes to drive prices up. Legalization just means more government involvement which means squeezing the population for more money Is same old crap.

  10. @Dancingontgesun1942 on April 7, 2024 at 7:39 am

Um , I’m calling bullshlt 🐂 💩. Anyway you don’t have to smoke weed, you can eat edibles 🤷🏾‍♂️

  11. @russakj on April 7, 2024 at 7:39 am

everything but the vaccines, fatty artificial foods, conservation additives etc. yeah way to go with those "studies" reminds me of the radio speaking about airpollution while i see the planelines in front of the sun spreading into a wide radiant fog blinding me, altough yeah smoking is not healthy 😉 edibles are way better

  14. @FreedomSquareGardenRailway on April 7, 2024 at 7:42 am

Since it lowers your control, mechanisms consumers will also consume other stuff as well, such as alcohol and terrible food, which probably exacerbates the numbers. Regardless, this is a dangerous, terrible drug. It should be banned nationwide. It just makes people weaker. This is what’s really polluting our nations soul!

  15. @user-xm3wd8tz6d on April 7, 2024 at 7:43 am

The difference is people aren’t smoking cannabis like they do cigarettes. My mother smoked like a freight train and I have never seen anyone smoke cannabis like that. 😂 Instead of fear mongering maybe push the government to actually do a real study.

  16. @cucaracha713 on April 7, 2024 at 7:43 am

How did they conduct this study of cannabis is federally illegal….. Study these nuts

  17. @beauglenn2204 on April 7, 2024 at 7:45 am

There are more than 35,000 research references in the popular medical journal, PubMed. Here’s another one: Charleston, SC: Marijuana smoking is not associated with an elevated risk of coronary artery disease (CAD aka heart disease) in young to middle age adults, according to data published in the journal PLOS One.

A team of investigators affiliated with the Medical University of South Carolina and the University of Texas assessed the relationship between CAD and self-reported cannabis use in 1,420 subjects. Participants in the study were all between the ages of 18 and 50, had experienced chest pain, and underwent a coronary CT angiography.

Researchers reported that subjects with a history of cannabis use were less likely to show evidence of CAD as compared to subjects with no cannabis exposure.

  22. @aborch7 on April 7, 2024 at 7:56 am

First of all, who funded this study? Secondly, anything that isn’t air is bad for your lungs…

  31. @gbware7731 on April 7, 2024 at 8:06 am

You guys are covering for Biden not following through on his promise to legalize cannabis here. Are you really expecting people to believe your "bottom line" statement based on ONE study that gave you a statistic you can manipulate the masses with, in line with your strange agenda? Please don’t forget the thousands of other studies that highlight the inherent health benefits of cannabis. You also, cleverly, use the word "marijuana" here in this story instead of "cannabis" as you believe the former has a more negative connotation nowadays. All of this, equates to basic propaganda to "round out the edges" of the push back Biden voters will invoke, given the fact that the president has not fulfilled his promise of cannabis legalization on a federal level, which he promised while running for election in 2020.

Of course there are health risks in the act of consuming smoke of any kind, but here you try to manipulate your viewers much more than you educate them, as the information you provide here is not comprehensive. The reason this is important? Cannabis has significant health benefits and is far safer than many pharmaceuticals.

    Lies, damned lies, and statistics.

You really are close to being the left equivalent of Fox News.

  46. @Meditations2024 on April 7, 2024 at 8:27 am

*Correlation isn’t causation.* The effects could simply come down to lifestyle choices common amongst some cannabis users.

A sedentary life and a bad diet for instance. Not everyone who uses cannabis falls into these categories.
