The main reason people start doing drugs or smoking cannabis is due to to the lies and disinformation that our parents and grandparents generations along with the government and media peddling their agenda. The people that we are suppose to trust the most more than anything so they want us to believe have purposely misled the American people for decades along with all the other things that they have chosen to lie to our faces about. Now that we are able to network with one another way more easily through the great internet. We have now been shown the light and what our "leaders" and "relatives" have been doing is all out in the open for us all to see their lies and manipulation.
When they have told us you’ll die if you smoke weed or drink a beer or fart wrong. Then we finally end up around our friends and someone pulls out a bong or joint and everyone else joins in and then your turn comes to be like your friends and not the square in the circle. You hit it and realize instantly your not dead. Those mother fuckers lied to me lol! Then your mind starts turning what else have they lied about. People do these things all the time and they’re not dead. So you start wondering and thinking and engaging in things you would not have done before.
All because they lied to us! Then they lied to us some more!
This is why you don’t lie to your children! You should use honesty and the truth to educate them. Show them that your not going to die from everything as the government would have you believe and force your children to believe.

I would support legalization for medical and recreational use just because I smoke it and I see no harm to myself or anyone else who smokes it. It would do more good than bad, believe that.
yesterday a bill was passed 5-2 . it wont be legal yet due to being outnumberd by conservatives who grew up soacking all the propaganda and holding it true. but the first step has been taken ,and with the unity of Texans there is no stoping until we take our first legal puff in our home state. (not that it ever stoped anyone)

Texas get in the modern world stop to many laws alcohol makes people sleep in the street never pot. Get real for if you want votes pass the pot law for sick people.
I think the people want it badly. The consequences are so unbalanced compared to the so called crime. This is also an issue of personal freedom and having a choice. At the very least change the schedule status of cannabis as it does not belong in the same category as heroin considering the outcomes of use.
It’s not for a politician to diagnose or treat medical issues. Listen to the doctors. Listen to the people. Freedom is an idea that hasn’t been accomplished. Why can’t I be free to grow my own medicine?
