US police have become the "standing army" that the founding fathers warned us about.

  2. headdownharris on May 15, 2022 at 7:00 pm

What a blatant waste of tax dollars, good grief.

  3. HE MAN on May 15, 2022 at 7:00 pm

There are a lot of smugglers and coyotes especially along the southern part of the state, it might seem over kill to some but these type of operations are needed, and its especially, needed since these gentlemen, are not only prepared in urban scenarios, as is the standard for modern law enforcement, but also outdoor/rural scenarios

My DREAM JOB! About to finish up my bachelor of science in CJ, staying in top notch shape, and keeping myself away from the college party life.

  8. Z on May 15, 2022 at 7:08 pm

All these people saying that this is excessive are wrong! Think about it, every single hunter has a gun! Who says they are not crazy?

  9. Marlon White on May 15, 2022 at 7:09 pm

I had no Idea that Isis was hiding in the forests of Texas. You would think so as heavily armed as these guys are.

  10. Zhang Wei on May 15, 2022 at 7:10 pm

The Game Wardens do not need a SWAT team .

  11. Ross L on May 15, 2022 at 7:10 pm

I mean I’m sure it’s a nice job but you are going after hunters. LOL. That is the biggest joke of a job. You train for what? In case some guy refuses to give up his over limit in dove?

  12. Dynasty 22 on May 15, 2022 at 7:12 pm

The ignorance in the comments is incredible. Texas Game Wardens have state wide jurisdiction and are sworn officers meaning they have arrest powers throughout the entire state of Texas. Local pd and county sherriff’s have SWAT, why wouldn’t a state agency? Dumbasses, dumbasses everywhere

  13. Adam Callahan on May 15, 2022 at 7:12 pm

why are game wardens serving high risk warrants? aren’t there a million other agencies in Texas mind you, that serve them. He said they want to be the best, they just don’t want to be regular.

  17. Romeo Romo jr on May 15, 2022 at 7:20 pm

I wonder how do i be apart of the Texas Game Warden Scout Team.

  18. Ross L on May 15, 2022 at 7:21 pm

He said it at 0:37. "Chris’s goals are to ensure that in 20 years, Game Wardens in Texas are a vital aspect of Texas Law Enforcement". That should tell you why this is happening. He didn’t say they want to ensure we protect our environment or game by enforcing those specific laws. It is now about more than that. That is what Government will do if you let them run wild. They become something they were not originally created to do.

  19. Andrew Garcia on May 15, 2022 at 7:22 pm

    Just got motivated

  20. Boba on May 15, 2022 at 7:24 pm

  21. ? thompson on May 15, 2022 at 7:25 pm

Gone are the days when you had a friendly encounter with any form of revenue enforcement. Now you are a subject in the kings woods and will be delt with for their amusement plus your revenue donation.

  22. A G on May 15, 2022 at 7:25 pm

Fact: theres less than 30 elements in the Division in all of texas these guys are like the navy seals of Texas Parks and wildlife.

  23. DDDSSDDDSSDDDSS on May 15, 2022 at 7:26 pm

Im sure they’re training to catch coyotes.

  24. eXplorer on May 15, 2022 at 7:28 pm

  25. Osbaldo Hernandez on May 15, 2022 at 7:29 pm

I want to become a game warden because I hate poachers and people who disrespect nature

  26. Mr. Nick on May 15, 2022 at 7:29 pm

These guys better hurry up and start driving military tanks too. What if a fisherman has two fish over the limit? They won’t have the tanks to protect themselves

  27. 2 Shades on May 15, 2022 at 7:29 pm

  28. Keanon Breazeale on May 15, 2022 at 7:31 pm

Yeah we got a hunter one over his limit…send in swat

  29. thehALomolov2 on May 15, 2022 at 7:32 pm

So… They’re being trained in ranged target eliminate and prone firing…. how is this helpful when they unsuspectedly approach and ask to see a licence and are taken out before they can even react…

They are essentially rural bylaw enforcers.. and their being trained as if they’re a spec ops unit -_-

The own difference between them and a parking enforcement officer, is that they openly deal with armed individuals and are in more remote areas… This training isn’t going to help unless their on a manhunt, which shouldn’t be their job when many other level of law enforcement already provide this service.

Or are they going to hold all citizens at gunpoint till they can prove they are not a threat…

  30. .. on May 15, 2022 at 7:32 pm

Some of y’all have no idea how severe the crimes are happening in your state parks. To have the audacity to claim we don’t need special operation wardens is pure ignorance. From human trafficking to large scale black market operations and drug raids. You people need to be enlightened. What better way to cultivate millions of dollars worth of poppy then in the wild?

  31. thehALomolov2 on May 15, 2022 at 7:33 pm

So the government can’t openly. use its military on its own citizens… So they label them as different branches of law enforcement and equip and train them as if they are military…

  32. Joe Colon on May 15, 2022 at 7:34 pm

I see them all the time where i live. In mcallen texas near mexico border in reynosa mex.

  34. Daniel S. on May 15, 2022 at 7:37 pm

You dont need SWAT to write a citation?

  35. B on May 15, 2022 at 7:37 pm

It’s a constitutional right to hunt and fish for food.these terrorists are Gestapo for the corporate grocery industry to make sure people are not eating except by paying in to the profiteering food industry.

  37. president dale parks on May 15, 2022 at 7:40 pm

  38. Ethan K on May 15, 2022 at 7:42 pm

Currently a student at Penn State in the Criminal
Justice field, hoping to be a game warden or any other wildlife correction agency

  39. J on May 15, 2022 at 7:43 pm

    WTF are these navy seals?

  40. mitchell corona on May 15, 2022 at 7:44 pm

This is rediculous game wardens shouldnt be doing this type of activity. If you want to be a SWAT officer go join the FBI or military.

  41. Jacob on May 15, 2022 at 7:46 pm

No disrespect but I don’t understand why theirs a special operation for game wardens

  42. Brian Godwin on May 15, 2022 at 7:47 pm

    Government waste at its finest.

  43. Donald Avant on May 15, 2022 at 7:47 pm

Why the move toward Militarized Tactics?

  44. Uzi Azad on May 15, 2022 at 7:47 pm

To all the people who are just quick enough to judge the tactical gear and military equipments this branch carries.. perhaps a little walk down the lane of history might enlighten you a bit… do you guys even know of Guy Bradley, Columbus McLeod and Pressley Reeves??? They were all wardens who laid thier lives in line of duty..!

Maybe you haven’t.. but the govt. has taken a good note of it and dont want to take any chances!!

Things have moved a long way since then and so has the poachers vice..! Hence the military grade weapons and wearables to combat it, and definitely not for the over bag limit fish count!

Be a bit patient next time you jump on conclusions..! Good Gaming y’all! Cheers!

  45. Jerrott Abernethy on May 15, 2022 at 7:47 pm

Gosh…. I want to do this so bad. This IS my dream job.

  49. Music Prodigy on May 15, 2022 at 7:54 pm

Do you have to be a regular game warden for a certain amount of time before you can do this or can you train for this and become this right away?
