Texas House considers expansion of state's medical marijuana program

Cannabis never should have been illegal to begin with. Prohibition is always a loser. It never works and never will.
Stop fighting cannabis, use the sales tax to offset the very few problems that arise and let us make our own decisions.

Good thing Delta 8 THC and other hemp Cannabinoids are legal and you can order online to your door. If you don’t fall along the lines for the medical marijuana program inform yourself upon hemp legal Cannabinoids

I sold weed back in 70 s had people that needed it for health reasons .. And I made sure they got it ..

Texas compassionate use program is totally uncompassionate. My doctor who says i qualify for cannabis program tells me that I’d be better off buying cannabis on the street than the low quality cannabis that so called compassionate Texas Republicans will permit. I am a Republican who will start to vote for Democrats over this one issue. The person who is in charge of what bills come to the floor is Lt Governor Dan Partick who has sworn he’d never allow a bill to come to the floor. I want to encourage all Texans who want the unjust war
on marijuana to stop…Vote against Dan Partick. I pray he gets voted out in the primary so I don’t have to vote for Democrats. However I believe Republicans will eventually lose control over Texas over this issue. Most folks I know are upset about our cannabis laws.

As an epileptic, I don’t have the type of epilepsy that is cured by cannabis, but the pain factor! It would be really nice not to have to take handfuls of liver damaging ibuprofen for days a couple weeks a month.

This is a double edged sword. From one standpoint those who would qualify for medicinal marijuana to take care of pain management should have access. The flipside is this could easily turn into recreational since it’s only one step away, causing the decay and total distraction of society like that in San Francisco in Portland were now every single drug is allowed including heroin, methamphetamine and cocaine.

everyone who has never used it for anything is an expert somehow. Ford Made a car out of weed and it ran on weed fuel the cars body was ten times stronger than steel so he hit it with a sledge hammer it had no damage. it sure would be nice to have a hemp car with aluminum windows so when it hails tennis ball sized hail out my car dont get damaged. Rockefeller came along and he didnt like weed he saw it as a threat to his oil monopoly it could have co existed and he would still be rich but being the greedy person he was he wanted it all.
