Texas made news in November of 2020 for a medical cannabis bill that would create an extremely limited market for the cannabis industry.

Only the wealthiest operators would be able to get a license as they are completely vertical. Like in Arizona, Florida or Illinois, the states are still scared of the open market and want to choose a few super wealthy entities to operator the entire state’s marijuana market.

If a person has a license to produce hemp will that help get into medical?
I own a CBD Dispensary in Abilene, Texas. When I first opened the head of Abilene’s narcotics task force came into my shop and threatened me with 10 years in prison for "distribution of Marijuana" if he found out of was still doing business out of my location, and that I needed to burn it all. I don’t know about the rest of Texas, but in abilene it’s in Guinness Book of records for having the most churches per city block. The churches, The "Christian Universities" and the hospital run Abilene, for years we couldn’t even have a hooters here because of them, and when we got one their students would suffer "severe consequences" if they were seen there or tried to work their. Lol sorry for the rambling, I mentioned all that because I think the only people in Texas who will be allowed in the medical marijuana industry will either be the multi million dollar hospital here, or multi millionaires in general because they will make it so expensive. Which sucks man, because just being in the CBD business I see on a day to day how much it helps people, and how much money marijuana will bring. Love your channel man, keep it up!

Thier going to put a lot of people on probation and state jail from this. I REFUSE to come home till our Govanor is out of office and we have a TRUE medical marijuana program. I’m 80% D.AV WITH C5,6@7 injury L arm shattered snd PTSD and still arrested for a SINGLE JOINT tried to put me on 24 month probation. Paid the fine and moved to oklahoma same day,
NEVER comehome again.
I suffer from PTSD and C-spine injury, this has been an issue in Texas sense Abbott got in office, it won’t happen, I already started moving my business and family out of Texas, any needs for hydrolic work on aircraft come to Oklahoma.
If the states won’t follow constitutional laws and there own laws then yes Texas is correct in helping all Americans and not just Texans.
