Cannabis is a safe way to manage PTSD symptoms.. If a law is unjust, a man is not only right to disobey it, he is obligated to do so.

Since they’ve recognized Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, they can now recognize Present Traumatic Stress Disorder.. The stress created by living in their present with their state of affairs..

Thank you for taking time to bring this to the soldier’s doorstep.  My husband and I are working hard to relocate so we can treat my PTSD as well as his.  We tend to trigger one another at times and have great difficulty adjusting in social atomosphere.  I, myself have been a "shut in" for almost 5 years now with very little social interaction due to high stress and horrible nightmares that keep me up for days.  We love Texas.  I however do not like all the stress meds and antipyschotics I take daily to attempt to manage this impact on our lives.  I joined the military in 1984, my husband in 1989.  We need to be able to function.  We have implemented dog therapy, horse therapy, meditation, 5 years of psychology therapy and psychiatric therapy.  In addition I have had the military operate on my hand and knee that leaves me with need to work constantly to keep range of motion with a great deal of pain.  My spouse has back injury that has been offered an "alternative and a new treatment" for his back which scares both of us.  He has 75% lung use following his last deployment and uses a cpap.  We both suffer night terrors.  We are one another’s best battle buddy.  I am also a sexual assault victim that has caused great complication in our ability to be intimate.  He has an injury in his genitalia that caused a surgery to be done that floored his testerone,  We have huge hopes medical cannabis may help us.  Please keep bringing attention to this need.  Thank you Thank you Thank you.  We may no longer be loyal Texans, but our hearts and thoughts will always be with our brothers and sisters in arms forever.

I know it’s going to be a slow step by step process but the thing I have the biggest problem with is how even after we are legally allowed to medicate, I will still be at risk of losing my job from random "drug" test or if, god forbid I get injured, a blood test will be performed and I’ll still get fired. It’s amazing to see the first steps taken, but I know it’s still going to be years before vets can feel comfortable and safe using medical marijuana.
