can I contact you via email for more help and information?
Why place it into a medium? And why not place into a horticulture hydroponics setting ? Surly that would be a development quickest to contribute to root zone .
what the type of lamp do you use, looks like from blue led?
Do you guys offer these services?
Did you license the rights, or was it actually you who patented this process…? Greedy POS whoever did that… Can’t believe a patent was actually assigned to give ownership over all rights to tissue culture cannabis… Insanely predatory move… Tissue culture has been a staple in horticulture for a very long time, yet somehow plant specificity allows someone to patent what is already a well-established process…??? I don’t even consume cannabis myself, so it’s not particularly relevant to me personally, but this blatant abuse of Intellectual Property law is beyond infuriating and nonsensical… Concerning for me in regards to my work with Mitragyna Speciosa though, is the thought that someone could patent what I’ve been doing for a decade and all of a sudden I have to license the right to continue from someone who stole it from me and the greater community as a whole…
I’ll stixk to Solo cups and rooting gel lol
Awesome episode 🤙🏼🤘🏼
This neo-stoner cloning is nonsense. Newbies and their trendy crap. If it’s that great F2 or S1 it and save the seeds and be done, less space than this nonsense. Yeah yeah yeah disease that’s not a problem from good seed stock. These ‘baby clones’ save a little space but takes a whole freaking lab to do it so what are you really saving? And 5 weeks still no roots? OTAY👌 And not surprising they use the word ‘terps’ so often in the video, all neo-stoner wannabes do🤣🤣🤣
You should try using multiplication media before you root out. You can get way more production.
Hello . How to induce callus from cannabis leaf inducing stem de novo? Saw picture on Instagram. How can I really generate plant from only a leaf ? 🍃
Tissue culture is tough because of how cannabis was bred over last 2 decades….you mean by pollination of a female, literally how all plants are bred….right?
Awesome info
Living organic soil team ✊
Was it the video quality or was that laminar flow filter dirty and scratched? Otherwise, very informative, thank you for sharing 🙂
I’d like to tissue culture but no one wants to help.
Thanks for this super amazing video
I fail to see how this maximizes grow space compared to normal cloning…what am I missing?
All thoose years being lied to about topping hahahahahhaha…
What solution / median is being used???
Thank im advance
where can i buy tissue culture medias, hormones, supplies, etc…..thaaaaaankkkss…..
This dude has no idea what he’s doing. You can’t just clone the top and remove pathogens. If you could do that you wouldn’t need tissue culture. You have to do meristem culture and the size is about 1 millimeter at the center of the growing tip.
You are doing shoot tip culture not meristem culture. You need a good microscope and fine forceps to do so. Video is misleading!
And 5 weeks later, still no roots. You might be over engineering a very simple process guys.
Solid video. Thanks for the info. If i have a plant with PM, will taking a tissue culture clone be cleared of the PM? I bought a clone and it wracked my garden with PM and im looking for a way to eliminate it. O dont want to fight it, i want it gone if possible.
Hey! Thank you for posting the video! You seem like you have a great operation going on there! The size cuttings your taking for meristem culturing are much bigger than I would have thought which is awesome and seemingly much easier. I obviously have several questions but what is most interesting for me, I suppose, is what are you using to disinfest the surface of your tissue, and for how long do you have to leave explant in disinfesting solution? aaaaaaaaand lol, are you having to cut additional portions of the explant before sticking into the media, and what are those cool papers/towels you stick the tissue on, for what seems to remove excess water before sticking into media? LOL I could ask so many questions. I fully understand if you cannot give total detail and answer these questions. Thank you for the video again, helps make decisions.
LOL, get inside the node dude. Y’all just micro-cloning, I can do that with rock wool.
I think bringing cannabis into the scientific fold of horticulture that it’s been denied due to legality is a great idea and work on Agar with mycelium, so I understand the sterile side as well ;but I’m confused to what benefits this has over starting with clean mother plants. I live in BC and have been fortunate enough to have been saturated in the cannabis growing world here for over 20 years, I’ve done thousands of clones in my life and consider myself very skilled at it ;but if we’re not mixing genetics via cell tissue propagation in Agar (a generic term for a Agar Agar based recipe) I don’t know what the advantages are here.
Could you use this method to get rid of pests like mites or mold?
3:48 – that cutting did not grow at all in that tissue culture medium… no roots developed.
Forgive me if I’m wrong. So, the only reason is the tissue culture is used to keep the plants sterile? It’s a very slow process. I can’t see how this could be viable in a commercial environment.
This is a really great video.
