Dude….the heat wave was no joke! We hit like 108 here in Morgan Hill for like 5 days. That silica and kelp definitely helped out. The garden looks good. Been having to tie mine up as well.

  17. @dw2367 on June 7, 2024 at 11:04 am

Kali, your trellising is solid gold, and makes the tie ups a cinch; GREAT job !! I’m dealing with a bunch of caterpillars down in So Cal; we got some humid and wet weather, which messed with my BT spraying and de-caterpillar work. It’s crazy, like they are air lifted in by night critters (moths), and start out as microscopic bugs, and grow as they eat. It is totally f’d up, and there is no other solution than to physically inspect every afternoon/evening with a headlamp, and make you keep up the Safer BT spray. The bud rot hasn’t been as bad this year, but it looks so similar to caterpillar damage, but AS dangerous. That Trifecta stuff works well for the bud rot, and good AIRFLOW between the colas. There is a bud rot product by "Mammoth," a little more economical than the Trifecta stuff.

I don’t think its possible for me to grow 50lb harvest just because where I live is a shorter growing season. What type of soil do you use and great looking plants!

  28. @bengrowin7222 on June 7, 2024 at 11:15 am

I get bud rot every year no matter what cause of where i live it sucks but it just depends on what doesn’t get it i still get pretty good yields most years yee

  29. @TheGamingHoser on June 7, 2024 at 11:18 am

LOL. Quote of the season: "They used to call this strain Jew’s Gold but I guess they stopped calling it that for politically correct reasons. Whatever". That is hilarious, I’ve never heard that before. I worked at an LP that grew Kosher Kush and people where puzzled by the name. I joked that it got the name because it was blessed by a Rabbi, some people didn’t realize I was joking.

LOL Seeds are legal, but the cultivation is still illegal by our secondary parents here, people still listen to secondary parents even over their own judgements.
