I’m coco perlite ewc bottles and recharge usually. I’m doing 6 side by side 3 gal hempys this run with grow dots. 2 straight coco one with a net pot one with out. 2 Coco perlite one net pot one without. 2 coco perlite and ewc one net pot one without. All have perlite up to just past the hole in the buckets. Net pot sitting on bottom with coco in it to wick.

I use Dr. Earth organic in my soil mixture along with vermiculite and feed 20-20-20 half strength during Veg. Than in flowering i recharge with some more Dr. Earth mixed with soil to top off and feed synthetic flower nutrients at half strength every other watering schedule, than flush last 10 days or so, 6 yrs. Of this regiment has worked for me. And you my friend are very good with information.

    For entertainment purposes only folks.😂

  7. @richardmarquez668 on January 11, 2024 at 5:24 am

Okay that’s what I would call myself and synganic because if I can’t treat it right away organically eyes use a little bit of synthetics to quickly take care of that problem Nice

  8. @TheHubeef on January 11, 2024 at 5:25 am

im starting a small hydro water no soil. what nutrient brand are you suggesting????????????? thx

  9. @anguilla1670 on January 11, 2024 at 5:25 am

Love the video. Strictly synthetic in RDWC here but I appreciate the knowledge your passing along!

  10. @pyroaddiction7884 on January 11, 2024 at 5:26 am

When is the least time you want to use recharge

  11. @jeroid123 on January 11, 2024 at 5:32 am

Bio-organic is when you pour liquid synthetic nutes onto an already fully organic pot, synthganic is when you take synthetic nutrients and utilize then in organic methods (almost zero organic nutrients allowed). CRF soil like grow dots/coco or beanstalk/coco would count as synthganic but not bio-organic. While if you took a living soil pot then randomly started feeding synthetic nutes that would be bio-organic

  12. @andysilljer4603 on January 11, 2024 at 5:32 am

I’ve always done organics. Growing up in saskatchewan teaches you a lot of things about farming and soil health and how that affects our future generations. So for me organic living soil just makes more sense and is a lot easier for me to understand.

  13. @AaricHale on January 11, 2024 at 5:32 am

I’m just a vegetable gardener but i’m like you I use both organic and synthetic together . I have practiced all forms of gardening over the years . I sure wish I was allowed to grow cannabis here in Indiana I would love to get my hands on growing it sometime . Thanks for sharing !

  14. @Slayer_420 on January 11, 2024 at 5:35 am

    Organic 🤘🪴💚

  15. @SuperBenjamin1965 on January 11, 2024 at 5:36 am

The only thing I use is organic my friend anything else is irrelevant I reuse my soil, and I always find worms, and then the next batch recharge grow dots ,even on the seed start and a bunch of worms from my previous grow, and a few other things, and there I go again over the rainbow

  16. @northernlightkind8041 on January 11, 2024 at 5:36 am

You 2 together almost "rollplay" this info to a very easy to understand dialogue betvin buddys. even new growers will get a grasp on the basics.
    Respect 🙏

  17. @618grow on January 11, 2024 at 5:36 am

Bruce Bugbee says synthetic will push plants to their genetic limit better than organic.

  18. @brandonmaxfield1052 on January 11, 2024 at 5:36 am

I started synganically and I don’t think im gunna move away from it it works pretty well and im enjoying my time with it

  19. @aaronproctor4745 on January 11, 2024 at 5:37 am

  23. @DisTentAint4Campin on January 11, 2024 at 5:45 am

im like rasta jeff i cant put the 2 words together lol i use foop bottle nutes they say they are organic they have the OMRI and Californias seal as well so they sell it as organic in a bottle smells way different then any other nutes i love it super easy it has silica in it cal mag no additives needed 3 bottles in veg 3 bottles in bloom the only additives i use is recharche and winterfrost super simple regiment keeps me hands on with the plant

  24. @normagee on January 11, 2024 at 5:47 am

synganics ..best of both worlds 😎

  25. @Fartylipjuice on January 11, 2024 at 5:49 am

    SYNTHETICALLY ORGASMIC OVER HERE DOE

  26. @ThChrMn on January 11, 2024 at 5:49 am

I grow with both, and have good results. I strongly recommend a self watering system. Either Real Buckets, Blumats, or some type of irrigation system. Getting the soil moisture correct takes away many problems

  27. @Haze2DaKush on January 11, 2024 at 5:49 am

To me NPK is NPK, the reason people need to flush is because they love to over feed. I love them salts man

  28. @Sketchyderlahh on January 11, 2024 at 5:50 am

I watch a lot of grow videos yours are up there! Would be good if you throw in some pictures/diagrams along with the podcast like videos

  29. @BiodigitalStuff on January 11, 2024 at 5:51 am

The plant may not be able to tell. But I can when I take a puff.

  30. @skynett-8008 on January 11, 2024 at 5:51 am

I’ve been using a 1,000 watt HPS since forever. Been thinking of getting some LEDS. Can anyone recommend some that will give me the same coverage as a 1,000 watt hps?

  34. @acdoctor8572 on January 11, 2024 at 5:57 am

A barter system between plant and microbe. Nitrogen for sugars.

  35. @youngnixx88788 on January 11, 2024 at 5:57 am

Synthetics all the way for me!

  36. @timpage5021 on January 11, 2024 at 5:57 am

    Canna Coco
    Masterblend nutrients
    And Recharge

    Winning formula.

  37. @andrewgeorge7459 on January 11, 2024 at 5:57 am

I use an ad blocker for a reason. Please get rid of that stupid banner advertising Recharge.
BTW… when there’s a pervasive ad that I can’t avoid, I make a mental note of the product to ensure that I will never actually buy it — and encourage my friends to do the same.
You should be ashamed of yourself. The people who thought this ad was a good idea are complete idiots.

All the right questions are asked! Thanks high sea

  41. @seanmac420 on January 11, 2024 at 6:01 am

I do mostly organic and if I need to supplement something later in the grow and correct a deficiency quickly I may add a nutrient that’s immediately available for the plant

  42. @weedseeds5211 on January 11, 2024 at 6:01 am

Synthetics to maximize size of plant and yields. With organic ammendments used throughout for flavor, and extra trace elements. I use mycos, microbes, compost, castings, fish emulsion, kelp extract, for better terps. Ontop of a basic 3part like gh. Works great. Calmag or rockdust for the calcium and mag requirements.

  43. @k10r01d on January 11, 2024 at 6:01 am

Thank you. Really nice conversation and breakdown of two separate processes, organic vs salt based nutrients or combination of the two to find happiness…finding happiness in living soil with organic dry amendments, microbes, probiotics, recharge and filtered tap water…re-using the soil…feeding the soil, not the plant…learning how to get out of the way and let Mother Nature do her thing…keep growing! kannabear420

  44. @greatpar on January 11, 2024 at 6:03 am

Hi Scotty, us Aussies would love to have Recharge and Grow Dots down under. However the price is prohibitive. You need to find a distributor in Australia and New Zealand. Please 🙏🇦🇺😎

  45. @ChadWestport on January 11, 2024 at 6:03 am

excellent video. I’m really digging this new series from ya Scotty. Great work 🙂

  46. @type1grower on January 11, 2024 at 6:05 am

I grew hydro in my 20’s and now I’m all organic. I see merits in both methods.

  47. @jpen8756 on January 11, 2024 at 6:06 am

Hey real growers! This summer a buddy wanted help with his grow and didn’t want to be mixing bottles….so I set him up with Gaia green veg (4weeks worth of feed) then he added in grow dots and had amazing results! 🎉

  48. @Junglemoney333 on January 11, 2024 at 6:09 am

Can you explain synganic? Sounds interesting. I am organic right now. I am Gaia green worm castings 444 all purpose and 284 bloom with coco perlite mix. For my teas I use recharge silica raw bat guano molasses and alpha meal. In flower right now I use flower fuel bloom booster. Is the bloom booster too much? I saw your video about bloom boosters. Should I stop using that additive.? My plan is to stop using it week 6 when I start to water when dry til harvest. 8 week flower time.

  49. @eccultivation on January 11, 2024 at 6:10 am

I grow in coco with a 3 part salt nutrient, Amino boost to aid in nutrient uptake and sillica for thicker stems leaves and fat buds but i do add Bio Rock root builder wit humic and fulvic acids but thats as much organic as i would add… with organics comes bugs with salts and coco there is no bugs

  50. @Dulce.Folium on January 11, 2024 at 6:11 am

I like to describe the difference between feeding organic and feeding synthetic is like drinking a glass of V8 juice vs getting an intravenous vitamin shot.
