Fungus gnats algae. Use soilless medium, like diatomaceus earth.

Any clue why my clones keep getting stem rot and no success? I soak the rocks for 10 minutes then scrape dip n rooting gel and then put the cuts in the rockwool under t5 lights after 3 or 4 days the stems start to rot from the rockwool. They are covered with domes and the vents are shut and the water is pH from 5-5.5.

Microwave the grow medium to sterilize it before using.

  22. Chris on August 16, 2022 at 6:45 am

Are you going true problems on your aero cloner they don’t look too good may be water temp

  23. RA1NBOWC0RN69 on August 16, 2022 at 6:45 am

The maggots are from something rotting. I had it happen to me before in soil from to much water and not enough drainage is what I got from it. But once I change to medium it had fixed itself

  24. Anthony Romano on August 16, 2022 at 6:48 am

When I learned hydroponics 30 years ago I built a box from wood about 4 feet long and20 inches wide and about 9 inches deep. I water proofed it with fiberglass resin. My grow medium was ordinary p gravel that s washed. The pump would fill the container to the top of the gravel. The pump turns off and the nutrient solution drains out and pulls air into the medium. It was vary successful in a 2 x 5 closet. I just didn’t have other perimeters in check back then but I got to flower and harvested early do to spider mites. I would do it that way again. Not sure about all this fancy equipment. I had a nice hedge. Didn’t know about trellises I just did bending and topping as I recall. I had no exhaust, no air bubbler.

  25. Anthony Romano on August 16, 2022 at 6:49 am

I would guess knat larvae. They are hard to get rid off. But probably not that damaging I here unless it gets out of hand.

  26. Shane Miller on August 16, 2022 at 6:50 am

id say musquito dunks for the nat larvae and probably came from the medium most l;ikely

  27. dean Whise on August 16, 2022 at 6:51 am

    Nat larvae

At 7:12 I can see that there is a leaf that is partially cut. I can’t remember the technique name and I forgot how it effects the plant other than it being positive for them. Can someone tell me the techniques name please.

  31. Og Chromosome on August 16, 2022 at 6:58 am

Hey man hope you’re doing well i really enjoy your videos and all the info you give with the plants/environment/lights/etc but i still have no idea where to start on a grow ive watched a few of your videos back then on your more advanced stuff. Do you have a playlist of videos from start to harvest on an indoor grow that is VERY beginner friendly ive been contemplating and been wanting to grow for some time bow but i feel so overwhelmed on the process. Anyways thanks so much take care!

  32. double ooh 7 on August 16, 2022 at 6:59 am

If you put rooting hormone powder on the branch unscratched it should stop them as the powder has a pesticide/ fungicide to stop all them

  33. KC on August 16, 2022 at 6:59 am

    Lm🍆o 🤣😅 the Friday references was 🔥👌😂🤣

    That’s fungas gnat larvae

  38. The Prophecy on August 16, 2022 at 7:08 am

    fungus nats

  39. Shopper Plug on August 16, 2022 at 7:12 am

That root pod worms was most likely caused by a contaminated soil, should always microwave the soil to sterile until it reaches 200F.
Let it cool, then plant the clone and water the soil with "Mycorrhizal" or "Trichoderma harzianum" fungi which will protect the soil from bad fungi and pests and promotes root growth.

  40. Retrospect Genetics on August 16, 2022 at 7:15 am

And i root right into soil

  41. Jacob Chang on August 16, 2022 at 7:17 am

Fungus gnat larvae. Mosquito dunk is the cheapest way to kill them.
