Had a plant in the woods. Forgot about it, cam back and a thorny vine was choking it. Took it off and it was ok but started growing shades of red like the vine. I always just chalked it up to a kwinky dink but always had that thought of maybe lol

You left off the best of all Durban poison this stain is the only landrace with the thcv cannabinoid. Which will not give you the munchies but can keep you from being hungry! Very important for people looking to lose weight also from diabetes!

I enjoyed Afghani in my 20’s and 30’s. Now in my 70’s, since pot is legal to grow in my State, I long to become well acquainted once again. The best Afghani I ever had was grown in a compost pile from a half-burnt roach seed, go figure.

Strains or Phenotypes? Isn’t there a difference?
Is it weird that any sativa strains don’t get me that high. Every time I smoke a sativa strain it feels more like a buzz. Only Indica and hybrids are able to get me real high. Also why is it that when I smoke is never able to put me down to sleep. Is their anybody else that has no problem staying up while smoking? Fyi I have bad insomnia is one of the reasons I smoke besides having PTSD and diagnosed with BPD. Any thoughts?

I grow medical / recreational cannabis here in Michigan. I have male / female seeds from an appalachian landrace cultivar that is a pure sativa. Unknown, un-traceable genetic that cross-breeds well with ruderalis and some of the Kush phenotypes. Does well in the cooler climate here for outdoor, pure-sun grows, amended with a 1000W MH / HPS indoor grow system. It is true that the Kush pheno’s are available here in our Michigan recreational dispensaries. VERY HIGH PRICE! That’s why I still grow and breed. Continued success to all growers.

OG Kush came from the same strain that pink kush came from it was not Afghani I’ve smoked Afghani and og Kush and they are completely different Afghani is kind of like cheesy ucaliptus and the og Kush is like grassy and a bit piney and skunky with a bit of sour
Ive heard it and seen as well that if you have a handful of different top notch strains with different characteristics you can pretty much carefully select different phenotypes and cross with the best to create some wild potent and amazing stuff. Its why genetics get more and more pricey. Its such a pleasure to see what nature can do with a gentle nudge here and there through time. And cannabis is quite a genetically diverse specimen that there is no limit to what crazy things it can so. Like the Australian wild growing strain with funky leaves or the fresian duck strain or another with leaves like ferns and all the vast cannabinoid profiles that can be swayed. Just awesome. If anyone stumbles upon a rare genetic specialty, try to capture it and breed it to share with the world. Cheers.
