Switched to a DWC system. I wonder why I waited so long growing in dirt. DWC is twice as fast with autos. Photo clones respond so well to hydro. Thanks 420 Scene for the initial knowledge and inspiration.

I have no luck cloning with cutting. I can only clone by air layering.(100% success rate) Don’t have to worried about light, humidity, space, ect. Air layering is cloning for dummies.

My present grow is a combination 4 outdoor plants and 22 clones from the best one in a kids pool in my 5×5, i mixed in gaja green in pro mix. They exploded in growth these passed few days, switching to flower in the next day or so, can’t wait to see what happens lol

When I first started cloning I was misting the clones daily giving way too much water. I’ve learned to just keep a humid environment and to give a little food so they don’t go nutrient deficient .

Hey 420! Quick question, just regular cinnamon powder you’d see in the grocery store?
Used cinnamon as a soil additive – mixed with my starter and veg soil bags. I can honestly say that I will deffo keep using that – as last time I didn’t (but feel it could of been way beneficial). Google and cinnamon in the garden is sooo versatile!
I just cloned 6 of my black willie fems from old school breeders I highly recommend them and this strain in particular very good strain apparently won 2 cannabis cups in one year in 2 separate categories. Love to send you a couple of my oddball landraces scene I’ve been getting back into the one week veg and flip to flower right away you don’t necessarily have to run autos just flip ‘‘em after a week or two and you can still have the perks of a photo if shit happens and u want to clone

Aspirin video sounds great! I haven’t tried that yet but I did try an apple cider experiment and it rooted in 3 days. All you need is 1 Tsp apple cider vinegar to 6 cups water. I dunked the cubes in and the whole cutting under. I tried it because I ran out of clonex and it was the first time I got roots so fast! Very interested in the Aspirin now!

Tried rooting powders with no luck did much research and found out how cloning was done back in the day before rooting hormones were a thing and I found out all you need is water and moderate lighting aka put cuttings in a clear glass (the clear glass makes them root faster I’ve tried opaque and clear many times clear always wins) of water and put it in the window sill’ change the water every 2-3 days and in 6-18 days you have roots’ have yet to have a single clone die since’ hell I don’t even mist them, keep it simple stupid is my modo now.

I use an aero cloning machine and no root gel at all and the quickest I’ve had plants root was three days. So far every cutting since I got the machine over six months ago has rooted and has been healthy. I’ve never bothered sterilising my razor, I just use a new blade each run of cuttings
3/3 on cloning just using a spray bottle of water, clonex, root riots, and mason jars as my domes
Get an aloe leaf and rub the goo on the cut end works awesome too and toss it in your soil when ur done and it will help a lot with your soil too. Soaking the cuttings the bottoms in liquid aloe and a good microhiza mix for 12 hours the. Plant in good soiled pot and cover with a big sandwich bag after spraying the inside of the bag fresh green coconut water is a beast for cloning too
