Training outdoor cannabis. Phase 1! And garden update. 2021

This video is a quick update at 4 weeks since the plants were put into their final 50 gallon pots outside. I also discuss the method of low stress training I will be using on these plants. These plants are being grown organically in BC, in second year no-till living organic soil!

What is another alternative to the plastic flag tape? Like i am using garden string, Last year when i used it i have the plant grow threw the string and in one case choke off the branch to the point i hade to remove it because it ended up getting rust.. Or am i just going to have to move the tie around peroticly.. I would use the flag tape but i do not like how visible it is.. Cheers

Maybe consider putting a screen behind your plants when filming. It’s difficult to see your plants with the green background. Just a thought. Happy growing😎

When is the proper time to introduce a trellis netting over your plants? Last year I did nothing early on. Growing in 100 gallon living soil and by the end of the season I had to stake every single branch and I had many branches break. This year I thought I woukd try netting bit not sure when to start it. I’m in michigan. Plants are about 2 feet tall right now. Thanks for the info!

I have a current issue with my grow and was hoping you could offer some tips. I started my clones indoor with 18/6 (but currently 17.5/6.5 and 2 month veg). I’m hoping to transition to outdoors now that I have at least 14.5 hrs of sun but I want to prevent early flowering. I read that I should cut down the time of light every week in order to match the sun, which is why I recently cut down 30 mins. But not sure if this even works so had to ask. Any tips on how I should go about this to transition properly while preventing early flowering? TIA

Thanks for the tips. I’m right below you Florence Or 475 miles south . April 30 Florence hits 14 hrs of day light. Average temp will be 55 day 43 night. Can my plant withstand those temperatures outside ?

Question, if I have a 2 foot plant in a 20 gallon pot, meaning the roots haven’t spread much, when I check the water with my water meter, it says the middle is dry but the very bottom is wet do I water the plant? I don’t want any issues
