Transforming Every 40 Gallon Tank In My Fish Room One by One
Transforming Every 40 Gallon Tank In My Fish Room One by One
After clearing out all the mini tubs in his fish room, Cory is now focused on working on the 40-gallon breeder tanks one by one. In the first tank, he decorated it with chicken bone rock and lots of cryptocoryne plants. Later on, he plans to modify the lid to make room for mounting the auto feeder.

I love the Aquarium Co-Op auto feeder but I wish you made a smaller one for smaller tanks. It sticks out really far over smaller tanks and the hole in the top has to be so big.
On a smaller tank, enough food fits in in that thing to feed for a year.
Anyone want some Xenotoca doadrioi? They are a other live bearer goodeid??? I’m nervous to take to LFS because she called them a type of platy…
Howdy Cory I’ve been watching your channel for years I’m also a customer. I have Family in Seattle. I bought my niece a small aquarium for her first birthday she is cutest thing ever. I told my Family about you and they made the trek to Edmonds to buy their first fish. They made me a short video of the CO-OP that included a shot of my niece in front of the tank with your mascot puffer fish. I never appreciated how huge that fish is until I saw that! I’ve been keeping fish and reading books about fish keeping since I was a kid and I’ve learned a ton from watching your videos. I totally appreciate what you have done for the hobby. Keep up the good work!
what’s the plant on the wall Cory? is it just golden pothos?
It looks sick, so glad you’re downsizing to make your hobby a hobby again
Loving the old school video, and Cory seemed so excited to be going back to his roots. It’s so easy to get in a rut in this hobby
Best intro ever.
Love your setup
excellent video
how about eco scape …. or eco inviornment ….
Cool video!
chuck us a reef tank m8

geo scaping?
i mean it’s still aqua scaping.
but a subset of it haha
Really enjoyed this video!!!
Stop calling your parts and components “bad boy”. Identify them as what they actually are called.
I was wondering if I missed a video of your turtles actually hatching any of the turtle eggs? Thanks in advance

Is this saltwater safe?
Can you give us an update on what intensity you run your light on your various 40 gallon breeders? My 37 gallon is set up similar to your chicken bone aquarium and I’m running your light at MAX POWER! 🙂
Loved this video. Thanks for the tips.
Cory is my best fish friend. Cause literally no one else cares. Thanks for being there for me pal.
Those aren’t tweezers; they’re forceps.
You sound so much more enthused! I love the scaled down fish room, and am trilled to see it more developed and green. Thanks for your knowledge and enjoy nature daily!
cant find the rocks on the website
Keep the videos coming !
Why do you not use soil or mud from outdoors in your tanks?
What light are you running on your 40b?
Do you think your time with the totes was beneficial? If for nothing else than to just know you didn’t enjoy that form of fish keeping? Is that what it ultimately came down to?
Those turtles must have a dry resting área, they are not animals that are completly acuatic…
Great info!!! Thanks Cory!!
Cory demonstrating how a chair works is the vibe I needed today.
I’d love to order from you Cory, but you don’t deliver to Canada yet.
What brand of tanks do you use?
Are you looking for "decorate the tank"?
That one turtle is like “dad hi dad , dad feed me “ 🤭😂
horticulturalist. what you said about the dying leaves being consumed is kind of false, the plant uses energy to try and recover /save dying leaves so it is actually more taxing on the plant. if the roots are good it will still be fine but the process of recovery will be slower if you leave dying leaves on. completely opposite of what you said. they do not represent nutrition that’s totally false!
This was so cool, like way way back in the day. Cory, no fancy stream, just talking to us as he’s trying to film one handed and do stuff with the other whole showing and telling and talking and ambling round the fish room. Love this, just wish it was longer, but that’s what Sundays are for…
👍❤️👍
Looking forward to my new order. Got your tubifex worms to see how my guppies enjoy them. Thanks as always for what you do
The intro, I love it 🤣
Iam going to buy a aquarium what’s the best brand aqueon marineland seapora I heard bad things about marineland
LOVE these videos the most!
I would enjoy a play by play of the steps taken to get rid of the BBA on plants. I have been working on it for what feels like forever. I have defiantly stopped it from spreading but just can’t seem to make it completely go away.
Baby tears and big bulbitis diffomus.
aww i love the white goldfish, we had one for 7 years named ghost who was also white. But we gave him and his buddy away to someone with a bigger tank than our 45 gallon. I rly love the shubunikun kind of goldfish ,all my high breed ones died in 5 years or so. But sadly they need a lot of space that we dont have atm.
Love those rocks, so gorgeous! I’d put blue fish in that tank. Maybe a school of blue neons and/or blue shrimp. The contrast would show off the rocks and the inhabitants really well.
I really enjoyed this video thanks for sharing 💗💯✌️👍
Cory, have you seen the new article from Real Simple?
Duckweed has hit mainstream recipe generators!
"Meet Mankai Duckweed" covers the health benefits and nutritional value of both wolffia and Lemnia varieties.
I’ve got families buying duckweed from me in much larger quantities than the fish stores ever did. 😊
Your pothos leaves are getting bigger because it’s climbing and maturing 🙂 I had mine climbing up and down some stuff on my wall and they’d get bigger on the way up and then smaller again as they went back down
Another vote for my favourite type of video. This is also actually my favourite type of tank – simpler but geared more towards the needs of the fish and ease of maintenance rather than just the look of it.
I’m really looking forward to a diy video on customizing glass lids to accommodate autofeeders. I love them in growout/breeding tanks, but I have an awful problem with evaporation in lid-less tanks.
Please help!!! I have tested my water and the parameters are all great. Zero amonia, zero nitrite, zero nitrate, and PH is 7.6. My 30 gallon tank was cycled for a month prior to putting in fish. I have been able to keep ny 2 Cory Dora’s, my Molly, 2 Platys, and 2 GloFish. Today my last guppy died. I have 14 guppies from all different fish stores and they have all died. Why can’t I keep my guppies alive?
