Trim Prune Cannabis When Why What

Trim Prune Cannabis When Why What

Trimming is very important to achieve quality growth and help with control your gardens health.
Topping your plants will simply get two or more buds on the site where you used to have one, it’s best to leave as much from the top-growth on the plant as possible. Canopy height is also very important when looking at PPFD along with Daily Light Integral
Daily Light Integral (DLI) is a measure of the aggregate amount of PAR light that a surface receives over the course of a day. It is a very useful metric to determine if a particular location receives sufficient amounts of light for plants to grow well.

Low light plants require between 5-10, medium light plants 10-15, and high light plants will require more than 15 while cannabis is short day high DLI plant in full bloom some say 41-51 in veg , week 4-5 (bulking) in flowering stage 25-35 is recommended for optimal results from most verities of cannabis plant .

Ohh I’m cringing they way you defoliate. Lol. But I get it. Once you know what your girls can withstand. You tend to push them to see what they can do. Plus a little stress can help sometimes.

John, the more light: the more photons that are hitting the leaves= more photosynthesis/higher dayily light intake= higher demand for food🥰

They are just hungrier my friend😁

More photosynthesis = more food used,

Notice how the plants that are shorter have no deficiencies??

Please trust me, id love to speak with you on the phone btw

trimming, pruning, and sculpting cannabis are my favorite things to do at my greenhouse job. It’s a great way to get to know your plants. They’re great teachers and always have a great vibe….

  28. Chris 432T on June 18, 2023 at 8:41 pm

Most of the time I’ve noticed no scrogg just stakes in the videos, but some videos show a scrogg trellis? Do you prefer the stakes or is it a space or plant count issue that determines what you use?
    Thank you JB.

  29. BostonDeadHead on June 18, 2023 at 8:42 pm

Also loving the hair. I just cut mine off. I donated it. I grew it to my waist starting a little before Covid. But I’m growing it out again so I can donate it again.

  35. BostonDeadHead on June 18, 2023 at 8:50 pm

I hear you Johny I love that smell! Nothing gets me going like the smell of fresh cannabis. That’s what I loved the most about the Texada TimeWarp. She has the most amazing terpene profile. If you get the Reel deal it’s a very stable plant to all the phenos are almost identical. I grew 6 seeds all female. I was hoping for one male so I could make some seeds. But the Terps on her. I can still smell them through out my house. I still have 1 hanging and 3 more coming down next week. It’s my favorite time of the year for sure.

  36. J Pat on June 18, 2023 at 8:50 pm

BRO, CAN’T YOU SEND ME THE SEEDS OF THIS WONDERFUL POISON, PLEASE, AND IT’S COSTING MORE? APOLOGIZE FOR MY ENGLISH)

  47. Zodd Sonofthor on June 18, 2023 at 9:04 pm

got the hop virus once killed so I killed the whole garden and ditched the seeds, went the nuclear option didn’t regret it at all but I’m growing personal and not for sale so taking a hit sucks but I don’t answer to owners etc. From what I have seen though there is no point trying to get through the grow just going to be very low quality and quantity it will be quicker to make up the deficit by just getting into another grow.
