Does it work with dry trim?

  3. Didnthurt on April 19, 2023 at 10:56 am

Interesting device! But looks like that trimmer needs a lot of cleaning.. so maybe not a huge time saver? Also it is really hughe tbh. How long does the blades last? If i have to change blades like every 5th batch i dunno if thats something im willing to invest in.

  4. Mad Marc on April 19, 2023 at 10:56 am

Wheres the update on the finished product? I’ve been dry trimming but I think imma change it up too.

Considering how long it takes to trim I think it would be worth the bucks

Do you need to trim wet why’s everyone using the bowl trimmers using wet buds

  10. VividPsychosis on April 19, 2023 at 11:07 am

How do you dry the buds appropriately if yo u do a wet trim? I’m doing my first grow now and might get this. I was just gonna cut, hang, dry and then trim. What would it be if I do this?

It’s true about the trykes stickin’ to your scissors and gloves, or stickin’ to the bowl trimmer, in the end it doesn’t make any difference, except the time that you win. Also thinking that you have to trim the buds right away, just after you harvested your plants. The only thing I’m scared of, are my buds drying too quick, if they’re trimmed, right after harvest. I’m thinkin’ about buying one though..informative video, thank you mr. Ward!

There’s a video for the Reefer Ranger bladeless trimmer on BUD-WISER channel

  17. SouthpawPablo on April 19, 2023 at 11:13 am

no nonsense info and your not spinning it like crazy and honestly fresh trim in this adds up but its no where near what you loose when dry trimming in any way.

  18. jacob freeman on April 19, 2023 at 11:14 am

wow i might have actually bought it if there was not a cut in the video right at the part where you reveal if it works or not. anything could have happened in that cut could have used scissors for all i know. one thing i know for sure we live in a very deceptive world today, especially with all the dam salesmen on youtube.

  19. Kitties and Colas on April 19, 2023 at 11:14 am

Can you dry trim with this? Thanks for any input!!

  20. jack wilson on April 19, 2023 at 11:15 am

Hey there Bill. Just watched your video and i have one of the trimmers. i have three plants that are half way dry from hanging and i learned that this unit is best used on fresh cut plants. i will try it on fresh cut plants in a week or so when the others are ready to come down. Now that they are harvested and trimmed what is your preference on drying before curing

YOu can see all the trichomes in the bottom of the bowl before he fills it up.

Bill bro. My first harvest was amazing I owe u one. I appreciate you. Also is this thing good ? Trimming was hell !!

  27. Tony M on April 19, 2023 at 11:22 am

Old days we smoked the whole bud, sugar leaves and all. to us, it seemed wasteful to let any of the bud go to waste for any reason. And trust me. If the weed is a good strain, you can smoke those sugar leaves all by themself and get high high high. Today for some reason, people don’t want them. IMO it’s a silly thought being it all gets you blasted. But then again, fewer people back then were cooking with it, and even fewer would take the time to use sugar leaf to make hash and dabs! lol I don’t know anyone of my friends back in the 70s, that even knew what a dab was, much less how to heat it and press it to get it. But if you like to burn bud, Burn the whole thing. Yes, sugar leaf and all. out of one bud that may weigh 3 grams, if the sugar leaf was left on it. about .008g might be part of that weight. Most likely less than the stem that goes through the bud. ANd most will just grind that stem up and smoke it. So why not the leaf. They are coated with everything the bud has. shrug.

Wet trim is alway better lose less trichs. Dry trimmers are dumb as fuck tbh. I work in the legal industry so

Got one of those last fall. Does a days work in under an hour. All my buddies wanted to borrow it. We separated the big buds from the small ones as they were bucked from the stems. Made for a more consistent cut, as we adjusted the number of rotations to optimize. Very happy. No one notices a lack of trichomes when they smoke the stuff. LOL In fact it also does a weeks work in under a day. We rented it one day to a dude with 30 plants. He had three other people bucking buds to keep the bowl trimmer working constantly, while keeping up with the pile of branches before they wilted; that were flying off a leaf trimmer table he was running.

  31. T.J on April 19, 2023 at 11:25 am

The best time to use this trimmer is when the Bud has been drying for 4-6 days and still needs to dry but is starting to firm up but when u squeeze the bud very soft u can tell it needs to dry a few days more. that is when the leaves are Brittle but the bud and resin or "crystals" on the bud is still Durable and not fully dry and wont break of easily allowing for a better quality trim while not losing too much oil off the buds.

  32. Growman Productions on April 19, 2023 at 11:27 am

Hey do you still use this?

  36. Conspiracy Library on April 19, 2023 at 11:30 am

My buds went in looking very frosty. 2nd day drying they look like shit. Did I over spin it?
    1. Washed my buds.
    2. Shook dry ish.
    3. Put them in the trimmer
    4. Put on drying racks.
    5. Waiting. Its currently day 2.

P.s. how are you cleaning your dish?

  37. YamaGrow420 on April 19, 2023 at 11:33 am

Thank you ! Just got one and will be using very soon. Wet trim it is !! Your video is the only one that uses gentle turns. Everyone else churns it like butter. Looks like gentle is the way to go instead of smashing the F out of it. Thank you !

  38. Brandon Herygers on April 19, 2023 at 11:33 am

Just bought one of these. Those trimmers that come with the bowl have oil on em to keep em from rusting. I’d recommend washing them thoroughly with warm water and soap.

  39. Russ on April 19, 2023 at 11:36 am

I seriously need some help. Will it work if the bud is completely dried before using the bud trimmer? The leaves and stems of the bud I’m trimming are completely dry to where the leaves crumble and the stems snap, will it also trim dried bud?

Have you found anything you would recommend for dry trimming?

  44. Neil Hiltz on April 19, 2023 at 11:39 am

Thanks Bill. I just ordered this last night. I trimmed 1 big plant by hand (as I usually do) and it is very time consuming. Hoping this works for me to cut down trim time.
Keep the vids coming and again, thanks for posting 😎

  45. Robert Threm on April 19, 2023 at 11:40 am

You know if you take that handle it will fit on the cutter without the bowl after you use it with the bowl then you can take a bud spin that around and just twist the bud without the bowl.on there and that would probably chop it a lot closer I’ll let you know Friday. Yes I’ll put a DeWalt drill on it also if it will fit hahaha

  46. Ron Youngblood on April 19, 2023 at 11:41 am

Can you use it for dried bud?

  48. Freedom Pharms on April 19, 2023 at 11:45 am

Yes Sir! I bought the 16" last season. Tried it on dry buds and it pulverized them. So I set it back on the shelf and trimmed 15lbs by hand. Had 1 plant late harvest. Tried again with the wet buds and bingo! Very nice! I will be harvesting in stages this season and all wet trimming with the Ipower trim bowl. 🌳✌😁🌳🇺🇸

  49. Stefan Engin Saatcigil on April 19, 2023 at 11:48 am

These buds end up being of poor quality! In Germany or Holland nobody
    would buy these scrap buds!
    Absolutely bad processed weed!
Hand trim is the real deal!

You do not ever wet trim weed. 👎
