One of my bigger purchase regrets lately. It’s a freakin jet engine.

I need this for my fishing live bait well. If the air is that hot I am thinking I could just put some someone underneath the live bait well to keep the water cool or just add ice to the. water. What other air Oxygen machine do you recommend ?

Hey all, I These reviews are exactly correct. I was wondering what the hell was going on with root rot. I can certainly handle the noise. I touched the chrome manifold today to add a 5th line and I couldn’t believe the temperature of the manifold and half of the pump. This is exactually the issue with my temperature now (135 degrees). Absolutely crazy! I purchased it 2-3 months ago on Amazon so the return period has expired. Now I have to buy another pump (out of pocket expense) so the new purchase will be number 3 within 2 years. The first pump just didn’t have the pressure I wanted. DON’T PURCHASE THIS PEOPLE – IT IS DANGEROUS!

I got the same pump and I noticed after putting in nutes my water within 48 hours starts to stink. I am using Advanced nutrients. I am using a chiller also. Water kept at 65. No light leak in containers either. I use separate PH down for nutes. Is this the problem? Nutes are supposedly ph perfect. Should I not add ph down?

Doesn’t get that hot to the touch, I can hold my hand on mine as long as I want to and not even begin to get too hot, just slightly warm. My pump runs 91 degrees going by infrared thermometer, and 84 on the manifold.

Wow! I was just about to make the same mistake buying one of these. I don’t need a noisy bucket heater either.

Been thinking of going hydro and been thinking a lot about how I’m going to set it up.
This week, we had a 3 hour power blackout. It happens. Storms, cars taking down utility poles, etc.
It suddenly occurred to that soon after (how soon, I don’t know) the air pump shuts down, the plants will die from lack of air in the water.
I’m thinking a battery, battery charger/inverter back up power for the air pump might be a good idea. The same type of set up some sump pumps are using.
What do you guys think? Too nervous, or is that being ‘smart’?

Useful information from you once again. I can really recommend the aquaforte pumps. The V-10 is really quiet and puts out plenty of air for four buckets at least. I’m not sure how much of a difference "more air" makes against root rot vs temperature for example. Not sure any amount of bubbles will make higher temps work at all.

Would have been nice to know the air temp at the end of a 100’ hose, and also dropping all the hose in a 5 gallon water bucket. But it was the review I was looking for, thank you Sir.

can u make a video to show the temperature of the output air after 30 min running time please 🙏
