    I went to my parents house this Christmas. They have a curve, admittedly it is better than a tungsten sharpener but absolute garbage compared to a good set of whetstones.
    I spent about 10 minutes pulling a Jamie Oliver knife through it and it could still barely cut raw pork fat.
