4 plants. 5 gallon reservoir. 1 gallon grow bucket.
Introducing Bottleponics – an innovative hydroponic methodolgy that combines the best elements of ebb and flow, deep water culture, and aeroponics into one highly effective setup perfect for small and large-scale operations.
Bottleponics draws inspiration from various hydroponic growing methods, such as Deep Water Culture, Ebb and Flow, and Aeroponics. By incorporating elements of these techniques, Bottleponics aims to provide an optimal growing environment for plants.
From Deep Water Culture, Bottleponics adopts the idea of submerging the roots in nutrient-rich water. This method provides a constant water supply and nutrients, promoting healthy root growth and development.
On the other hand, Ebb and Flow emphasize the importance of a balanced saturation level for the root system. Bottleponics incorporates this concept by regularly flooding and draining the roots, ensuring they are not over or under-saturated.
Aeroponics, the method of growing plants in the air, teaches us that roots do not necessarily need soil to thrive, and they can handle dangling in the air for quite some time before they start to expire. Bottleponics incorporates this idea by suspending the roots in the air and providing them with water and nutrients.
All these methods are used in bottleponics to create an efficient and sustainable way of growing plants.
Bottleponics is designed to be sustainable and cost-effective. With no risk of root rot or air pumps running around the clock, this system uses less water and fewer nutrients than traditional hydroponic systems.
Bottleponics is also designed to be much shorter than a flood and drain setup on a table, making it perfect for smaller spaces. And the solution in Bottleponics aerates through movement, like a river, providing a more natural and effective way to oxygenate the roots.
But the real game-changer with Bottleponics is how it treats the roots – by “milking” them out, similar to aeroponics, this system provides maximum input for impressive crop output.
The method eliminates air stones and pumps by removing the nutrient solution from the grow chambers with a simple inline water pump triggered with a cycle timer. The pump is ‘T’d into the irrigation system and simply pumps the solution to the reservoir. Run it long enough, and it will aerate the solution and empty the grow chambers. When the pump switches off, gravity takes over and slowly refills the chambers.
Grow chambers can be anything. The key is to have a large reservoir system containing all the nutrient solutions from all the plant sites. This favors short grow chambers and taller reservoirs. A perfect four-plant cannabis grow system can be made with four one-gallon buckets and one five-gallon reservoir. This could be scaled; for example, a 55-gallon drum could serve 50 plant sites.
This method is not exclusive to individual grow containers. It could be the perfect upgrade to the Krakty method or bed grow systems.
The power of oxygen!
The experienced grower knows oxygen is a crucial nutrient for healthy plant growth. And with our innovative system, you can give your plants the perfect amount of oxygen to achieve dense, bountiful yields.
The Bottleponics system uses five-gallon buckets as reservoirs and one-gallon buckets as grow chambers, making it scalable and efficient. This system yields faster growth and higher yields than traditional hydroponic methods. A parts checklist and recommended products are included. Try the Bottleponics system to experience the benefits of improved hydroponics.
