Many Potential Causes
While there may be a long list of potential causes for yellowing of cannabis leaves, this will attempt to provide some of the common nutrient related causes.
The location of the yellowing leaves is important to try and determine the likely cause.
Yellowing Toward Top of Plant
Iron Deficiency
Yellowing of Plant Leaf Edges
Potassium Deficiency
Inter Venial Leaf Yellowing
Magnesium Deficiency
Yellowing of Lower Leaves
Nitrogen Deficiency

Thank you for this info
This is great, Thank you.
Thank you for your knowledge. How about yellow leaves throughout the plant? Not necessarily top or bottom.
dont see a detail video for cannabis irn deficiency as you canbe found somewhere with more details
My plant is turning yellow at the tips does it mean I have to much nutrients or does it need more nutrients.
All of them seem light green… Do you think EPSOM SALT (magnesium solphate) would help????
Can I ask you some questions?
What would you think if just small / new leafs are lighter in color? does that mean anything or do they just need time to develop more color?
I’ve got yellow through out the whole plant in a typical orange homedepot bucket I believe it’s from over fertilization the plant already has buds but don’t want it to get worse or even burn the buds up it’s still green around the bud leaves and buds still look healthy but even some are those leaves are yellow now while most leaves are turning yellow or a lime color everywhere else I’d say atleast 70% of the plant I stopped giving it the fertilizer i was given it what do you recommend for nutritints i give it now thanks
Youre the best
Half way through 12 12. When pruning fan leaves should you try to "snap them away from the stalk" or is it ok to leave a little leaf stem so you dont jam your fingers or scissors in there to cut or snap it. I always wondered if that bit of leaf stem caused possible rot that spread to the bud against it. Or since the leaves are like hollow straws instead of no opening when you snap it away from the plant. Sorry my mind goes deep into it.
Loved this one, im going to mix some nutes rn
thank you very much
The Short Information which i needed Good Video
I grew a plant a few years ago, just for fun, and dont want the hassle anymore, add to that I don’t smoke. Curiously though, when it started to flower and bud, the leaves furthest from the buds started turning yellow, even dying, But, despite losing at least 50% of the leaves because they died, the buds did remarkably well. The leaves right around the buds were very healthy and green but near the end it was a bit odd looking, this scragly looking plant with big beautiful buds. I’m not sure if this was the plants way of sending all the good stuff to the buds rather than wasting on the leaves. Did I over fertilize with the bloom fertilizer? Did I under fertilize? Or neither.
Thank you.
Thank you !!!
Love your channel. Please do a video on the effects of High and Low PH.
Mine needs nitrogen thanks!!
