What are your thoughts on adding mycorrhiza for the first few watering’s? I’ve read and heard good and bad.

Kali, would you use this mix for an inside grow as well or any bud hardener?

Thanks for mentioning the recycle sil. I was wondering why I couldn’t find it. Unfortunate they don’t make it anymore. I thought it worked pretty good

  6. FunTime Flowers on July 12, 2022 at 12:02 am

Keeping it 💯. Don’t know if I missed it, are you using coco coir? 12lbs amendments for 100lb pots. Did u lock out anything this year? The year before the LA confidentle got locked/burnt and u had to flush. I used 3.5lbs for 35gal. I been cooking a box of custom compost for a year and a half. Excited for this season. I also use quarter drop of dawn soap for my surfactant. No bubbles just makes the water ‘stick’ and only foliare spray for bugs when needed. The coca coir definitely did work in replacing the molasses/ carb boost at the end of flower. Cheers.

  10. growing with Matt on July 12, 2022 at 12:05 am

Hey Kali was wondering how you went about becoming a small farms grower and the steps you had to take I have become interested in the process and am looking to do the same

  11. Gary Sickler on July 12, 2022 at 12:06 am

Do you start each year with fresh nutrients or do you use up your leftover stuff.

  12. Anthony Lux on July 12, 2022 at 12:06 am

I sent you an email about your compost tea recipe, but it went unreturned (twice). This video made up for it. In years’ past, you would have lots of Down to Earth products on the table. So, I bought the same Down to Earth fertilizers, but this year my formula was off because I somehow poisoned the plants with the wrong ratios of something. I am going to get the soil tested in the near future to figure out what went wrong and determine if I can fix the soil with dilution. When you make your first compost tea of 2022, can you make a video of the ratios, like you did with the soil ratios today? What was most amazing about today’s video is the fact that you utilize 100 gallon pots, so your brotherhood can divide by 4 for 25 gallon pots etc. For me, this was the most valuable video that you have ever made Kali. Thank you for sharing your wisdom brother. Have a blessed evening. Anthony

Thumbs up for RASA hydro! I love that place and those guys are awesome to talk to. I get my Bu’s Blend compost from them. What genetics do you typically go with? Want to consider some different seeds for my 2022 outdoor grow. Thank you for the lecture professor!

  18. Srelhow on July 12, 2022 at 12:10 am

Your red worms just need food. Red worms are a composting worm. They live and thrive in a cold composting environment. Instead of a winter cover crop you could cover your beds with all your water leaves and layer in some compost. This will give them food over the winter. Then do an early spring cover crop chop and drop add compost and plant new season. Keeping compost and material breaking down is key to keeping the worms around. Worms are a gardeners best friend.

Loved this one! Any thoughts on Power SI silica? Monocylicic acid (spell check) instantly available to plants I’m sure you are familiar with it. Really looking forward to following along on your next grow. New subscriber caught the tail end of the last one and wow you got a cool channel. Cheers!

Would this system work for a small, walk-in closet / dirt grow? I’d love to give it a go? LED lights.

    I was taught hydroponics initially.

Later I would go on to experiment with dirt.

    Never tried "Aeroponics" tho🤷

But if I’m gonna run dirty? I prefer to do it as natural as possible!

I was trained on the 3 part solution by General Hydroponics …. Brown FIRST!! Give her a good mix!! Then the pink & green get tossed in.🤷

    No cover crop necessary😂✌️

  46. Jose Rodrigue on July 12, 2022 at 12:48 am

Great video man. Question though. The big roots soil is already perfectly amended and balanced right? Isn’t already a super soil?. How is it that the soils isn’t to hot for the plants after mixing in all those amendments?
    Lol

Sorry if it s to many questions lol.
