You absolutely do not need 18 hours. Nature doesn’t have 18 hours of light. 15 hours is plenty. Ask dr Bruce. Another pro tip. Stop using perlite. Go to tractor supply and get bags of chicken grit aka crushed granite. It provides superior drainage, does not float or move around and crushed granite contains micronutrients broken down over time. Its 15 bucks for a 20 pound bag. Also, 99 percent of the time you DO NOT have a deficiency. You have a excess of a nutrient causing a lock out of another nutrient. So adding more will only increase the problem. And for the love of god DO NOT OVER WATER. I’m a master gardener and have a minor in biology

And by the way fossil fuel chemical fertilizers weaken the root system making it increasingly susceptible to pathogens. Also kills off the microryza fungi and bacteria thats there to function as a temperature stabilizer for the root system AFI.

    OHH, ONE LAST THING.
POTTING SOIL IS DEAD SOIL, NOT LIKE LIVING SOIL. NO WONDER YALL PLANTS LIKE IT GROWING WITH A HANDY CAP BUILT IN. BUT ITS NOT THE PLANTS THAT ARE HANDY-CAPPED. ITS THE (SOIL).

Have you ever grow using those dripping systems like Origin (Wilma)? Can I low stress training on those? I feel like the plants are not very into pulling in clay pebbles

I make my own N-P-K with the trace minerals (Jdam)… Using LAB-s and leaf mould. Molasses is a great food for your microbes, Labs introduces the microbes. Human urine has a lot of N in it and a lot of micro nutrients.. What is the analysis of human urine?
Human urine is composed primarily of water (95%). The rest is urea (2%), creatinine (0.1%), uric acid (0.03%), chloride, sodium, potassium, sulphate, ammonium, phosphate and other ions and molecules in lesser amounts30 (Table 1). Protein is only found in trace amounts compared to their values in blood plasma.Dec 27, 2019

Growing the babies are fairly straightforward and easy…when it shoots up & gets bigger, that’s when it gets leafy…..

  25. Golden Gurila on August 15, 2023 at 8:05 pm

Once again had some 7 foot plants with about 8 large tops. I just did topping. It seemed like looking down on tham the whole area had been taken up by tops but pretty well only Hudson the top 1/3 had nice bud. The wrest goes out with the lawnmower cuttings mixed up a bit and put in councils fortnightly green rubbish bin.
Then I researched YouTube videos on monster trees that potentially 10 lb💚💰Then I tied them down. Mega tops. Is it good to tie them down or top or pinching and bending 90 degrees

    Amazing

  29. Smug nug on August 15, 2023 at 8:10 pm

Its not advised to top in flower. Lots of stress, and can possibly cause hermaphrodite.

  30. Terry Hesticles on August 15, 2023 at 8:11 pm

My soil is a blend of decomposed tree stump matter, a bit of fermented chicken crap, and some quality soil from the back yard with egg shells, coffee and banana compost then some phosphorus spikes. Any tips or am I on the right track? Newbie that grew up vegetable gardening. Second plant. 1200 watt full spec led running 50% 16" , 12:15 on 11:45 off 68-70° at 45 percent humidity. Only doing one plant til i get it down. 4 gallons of soil.
