I have such faith in Texas government that I moved to Oklahoma for my ptsd treatment instead of 7 bottles of V.A pills.
I hope it passes I don’t like snow

People are passing on. Marijuana…it’s junk..too many chemical in it…no good

  3. Sarann Man on May 2, 2022 at 9:55 pm

After a long day of hard work I rather go to dispensary than meeting up with the dealer, either way I will get my joint. I believe the state has a better use of my money compare to my dealers.

I remember when they were trying to steal sea turtles from Hawaii and the Galapagos islands and trying to make turtle soup and pizza because of teenage mutant nija turtles pizza cravings

  7. Travelling on Uptozion on May 2, 2022 at 9:58 pm

Who is leading by example???? surely not Colorado!!!!!!?

  8. Philip Dressler on May 2, 2022 at 9:58 pm

I think Texas really saved those turtles from destruction by conservative right wing politicians

I got sent to jail at 17 over a pot plant. It’s been a year now. I’m 18 I’m on probation for the next two years and they’re trying to send me to prison for 4…. texas please decriminalize…..

  10. Ryanpwnkins on May 2, 2022 at 9:59 pm

So long as Greg Abbott and Dan Patrick’s are in office this is moot and a waste of time.

Need to get them out of their positions before any of this is even relevant.

I should have say so over what I consume, we’re not even a fair nation when some Americans have rights other Americans don’t.

    Land of the free?

    Pfft. Please.

  14. francisco salto on May 2, 2022 at 10:02 pm

Can I just buy weed legally I’m tired of all the bad weed and drug dealers in dallas texas . Why cant we just legalize. Colorado knows that there doing I went there last October it’s so beautiful walking in to a dispensary and buying what you need. Then you come back home to texas you try buying some weed it’s coming out of someone’s ass just to smoke a blunt . This whole thing of weed being bad is some fucked up shit , because alcohol is bad too but they sell it every where at clubs so you can drink and drive and die . Also it could be that texas doesn’t want to legalize cause where connected to mexico , which actually makes more sense to legalize it . But ok I’ll just go get high now on the bullshit weed I buy from drug dealers .

  18. Jeannie Self on May 2, 2022 at 10:07 pm

I thought legal weed had passed the House and went to the Texas Senate. Where does it sit now? Just gonna sit there till they get around to not vote on it?

  19. Los on May 2, 2022 at 10:09 pm

  22. SKULLY MACK on May 2, 2022 at 10:14 pm

Texas Republican Politicians are quite comfortable with the amount of money they collect from jailing mostly blacks and, hispanics for minor weed offenses and, getting the privatized jail kick back cash they set up long ago as well as, continuing their FAKE CHRISTIAN VALUES LIE (EVERY MINORITY FELON CREATED IS ONE LESS POTENTIAL DEMOCRATIC VOTER OF THE FUTURE)… Texans do not have the right to vote for themselves on the issue (IMAGINE THAT) which leaves it to the corrupt racist Republicans who are smoking as they please at the mansion daily. Surrounding legal states politicians are laughing at our elected fools all the way to the bank as they watch their weekend weed tourists pile in by the thousands to spend millions to enjoy what every state with a brain has now accepted…Texas Law Enforcement doesn’t seem to care one way or, the other about weed – They just do the job asked of them by these CLOWNS!

  23. Space City on May 2, 2022 at 10:16 pm

Need a new governor abbot old ass still living in the past…

  24. Kay Mathis on May 2, 2022 at 10:17 pm

Well, Texas….it is your Republican party who is against legalization. Im in a legal state….see a lot of Texas plates. ….lol

  25. Jaden Ayala on May 2, 2022 at 10:17 pm

It ain’t legal bc Texas has legit deep rooted racist ideologys

  26. Andres Salinas on May 2, 2022 at 10:20 pm

Why? Why is that Texas the highest population and the HIGHEST minor drug possession arrests in the entire country

What the hell is wrong with all these pussyfooted politicians dancing around our governor needs to get the OUT he’s a clear racist against Hispanics

People need their medicine and theirs NO reason Texas should be telling adults what they can and can’t consume especially when the UN, Canada and MEXICO of all places is already YEARS ahead of the entire country let alone the US

Free the people of Texas from our governor free the people of Texas that are held down normal citizens that suddenly become criminals and felons for a victimless crime that is already 100s of Years out of date and implemented solely for racists reasons

  27. Jive Afro on May 2, 2022 at 10:20 pm

A market that is expected to generate 55 BILLION DOLLARS in the next several years across the 15 legal states…and you have the gall to say you have to think about what is best for Texas?!?! FULL ADULT USE LEGALIZATION or nothing, none of this halfass crap you are trying here. Look across the country at all the states who are probably going to legalize it to rebuild their economies thanks to COVID?!?!?! Oh and while you’re at it, legalize constitutional carry too Abbott!!! How you gonna let Texas be behind freaking Oklahoma on shit?????

  40. Real Coaches Corner on May 2, 2022 at 10:39 pm

Texas is in the dark ages…wouldnt suprise me if we are the very last state to legalize. Its time to leave texas! Everyone from california, colorado, east coast and everywhere in world is messing up the texas highways our children from the other states kids and our truely unique culture. Texans have been ran out by other texans due to laws about this plant and now the other people moving here running texans out bc they love building everywhere on our precious land. Here i come vermont!

  41. The Hectonator on May 2, 2022 at 10:39 pm

Why does Texas have to be so damn difficult?!?!

  42. Cal Lee on May 2, 2022 at 10:39 pm

Thank god I moved back to my home state Arizona where I have my medical card and can freely use and possess without worries of it ruining my whole life like it can in Texas. What an absolute joke how far behind the rest of the country Texas is when it comes to marijuana, very sad. We even recently became recreational in AZ! God bless

  43. Zombie Panda on May 2, 2022 at 10:40 pm

Cannabis should have already been legalized in Texas I think the reason is because we live too close to Mexico and get things cheaper and of better and also the person who is in charge of passing laws and bills probably still believe in Nixon’s words and lies to be honest here and he was just a complete liar you didn’t see him banned alcohol or band cigarettes neither one of those had good effects on the human body actually caused diseases they still do weed on the other hand you can do more than one thing with it you don’t need to adjust smoke it you can put it into a tea you can make it into edibles and has a lot of medical uses as well as therapeutic uses people say getting high is bad what do you do when you smoke tobacco or chew tobacco you get high might not be the same type of high but you get high what do you do whenever you drink a lot you get drunk a different type of high just like cigarettes have a different type of high there’s a sugar high you can get high off of caffeine in my opinion as long as you know it has medical and therapeutic uses and it stays 100% natural should be legalized everything that isn’t natural 100% and does more harm then good should be banned illegal

  44. Dysfunctional Veteran on May 2, 2022 at 10:40 pm

Texas MMJ laws is why I was forced to move from Texas and change my political view to DEMOCRATIC.

My mother n law has MS. 12 different prescriptions for it, some of them to help with the side effects of the medication itself.
One gg4 plant made into muffins and she goes off ALL her meds AND IMPROVES!!
Big pharma has a home here in Texas pure and simple and legalization will lower demand for their poison thus lowering costs. AND THATS WHY TEXAS FIGHTS LEGALIZATION. Ask a lobyist.

  49. Justin Gibbons on May 2, 2022 at 10:50 pm

Adults should be able to do what they want. We don’t need Government holding adults hands through life.

  50. Axios on May 2, 2022 at 10:52 pm
