I once tried full organic super soil with worm castings recharge and organic 9 4 6 mg granular food with bottled water seedlings stunted for almost a month they were tiiiiiny never got bigger that a half dollar untill i checked soil ph it was around 5 checked water it was 5.5 made adjustments to water on nd it slowly came up but they were so stressed most hermd when in flower lesson test soil ph and add adjustment accordingly untill about 6-7

also for cal mag I use shrimp meal from down to earth and epsom salt and it’s not instant but it will fix all deficiencies. My tap water is under 7 ph so it works for me I test it with pool strips but no pen 🖊 they calibrate like shit and cause more problems

Been a sterile synthetic grower over a decade.. in the process of beginning expiraments to switch to living soil and terp teas for my new farm at some point.. great job explaining I remember the dolomite lime as soil buffer from Jorge’s Growers bible

My ph out of my well starts at like 10 🥴

  5. Russell Thomas on July 16, 2022 at 1:12 am

I’m a newer grower, my buddy has a couple runs under his belt; however we’re both still brand new. We have an outdoor grow with our own soil. (Not that great) Everything is the same. They’re in the same spot, same strains of clones from the same mothers and my plants seems to be doing a little better (greener and bigger) with the PH being monitored at no more than 6.5. The PH coming out of the hose is at 7.5. I also do silica on my plants, he doesnt

  6. Graeme Devine on July 16, 2022 at 1:13 am

Thanks bro, this really makes sense on the PH organic subject, K TheGuy on YouTube has some very interesting information on bacteria and PH, best information on PH I’ve heard thanks again.

  7. Joe Natale on July 16, 2022 at 1:13 am

In Switzerland my past was about growing for myself Couz can be very expensive there never mesure the ph I just had a bit of lemon juice to the water never had any issue any plants green untill the end and massive buds even on small plants and with very basic organic fertilizer bought in my local shop.. and always top end quality. Not only said by me even the owner of the shop ho sold me the clones and has massive grow of clones of strains that is only clone strain no seeds. Majority of people see a video on YouTube and made cannabis a rocket science is a plant more she grows on her natural state more the end product is good and have taste. Majority of strains in ou days have to much THC and not so much CBD cbg and CBN so they are stronger in thc but the punch is still mostly the same nothing that people make believe that is different ( now street cannabis can be pretty horrible yes ) still a plant , we grow in the mountains and the high of that cannabis if you can get your hands on it it can be tricky like the famous swiss strawberry sativa that you find in Valais , can be really tricky going out after smoking .

I don’t know I live on a farm close to the river and my ph is pretty high and changes a lot. I noticed before I started to ph my water I got nutrient lockout quite a bit and that slows down the growth a lot and if you grow autos that is unacceptable mistake. That’s just how I see it personally.

  14. Micheal Radd on July 16, 2022 at 1:23 am

Maybe if u didn’t act like I clown, I would of watched ur post. Bye.

  16. East Coast Dankness on July 16, 2022 at 1:24 am

How do i flush if i over amend and end up with nute burn?. Is it a different process then synthetic nutes?

  17. RonTech34 on July 16, 2022 at 1:25 am

Do you monitor your water temperature and your hydroponic?

  18. scott on July 16, 2022 at 1:26 am

How high of ph would you say is safe without adjusting? My tap water comes out at about 7.8

  19. Lance Owens on July 16, 2022 at 1:26 am

Here comes what may sound a bit dum but when people say bag seeds do you mean they were found in a bag that you got from wherever?

  20. dahomie playsthegame on July 16, 2022 at 1:26 am

Rambo’s cousin can grow his ass off

  25. Pass Time on July 16, 2022 at 1:37 am

You should ph for optimal conditions just like it’s not sunny outside everyday when growing to prevent problems and optimize time and energy make sure you ph interesting points tho

  26. Frank V on July 16, 2022 at 1:38 am

I never ph my water. Always been an organic soil grower though.

  27. Tezzasbigbuz on July 16, 2022 at 1:38 am

What’s the neuteral ph that you use

  28. AlchemyGlassLabs420 on July 16, 2022 at 1:45 am

My flush was bad in flow 8.1 to 8.3 out 5.2 to 5.0 was so crazy no idea what happened showing massive iron lock out. So what I did was treat the soil bought a ph tester kit for soil, used lime to fix the ph in soil

  29. DCsPr0ductions on July 16, 2022 at 1:46 am

Organic absolutely slaps. Especially if the soil/compost has mycelium in it👍 also Vitamin C dechlorinates water 💧;)

  30. Echo Gnome on July 16, 2022 at 1:46 am

How do you keep the plants so short? I ask because my last flower the plants grey above the lights and were celing high. It was messy

  31. 4GG on July 16, 2022 at 1:47 am

Honestly if you start with good soil , drainage , lights & GOOD genetics you literally can’t mess your plant up unless you really go outta bounds. Im a soil guy i water whenever my pot feels light. Ive never once PH’d or use any sorta meters. Straight organic

  32. Sulayman Touray on July 16, 2022 at 1:49 am

Talked a whole bunch of nothing just to say don’t fuck with your water

  33. Ruzbeh Nasiri on July 16, 2022 at 1:50 am

hi can we use organic fertilizer in hydroponic?

  34. Ray Jay on July 16, 2022 at 1:51 am

As a 30yr organic gardener, you are correct about pHing water. It only needs correcting if it’s WAY out of being neutral. And that’s actually pretty rare case for most areas.
    Great show!

  35. Tomas Soliz on July 16, 2022 at 1:52 am

    Love it

  36. liam foster on July 16, 2022 at 1:54 am

what’s your max temp for these mothers?

  37. Jawad Saleh on July 16, 2022 at 1:54 am

I noticed organic growers don’t get crazy looking plants or buds. Guessing they’re not running at max potential throughout their lifespan

  38. Young millionaire on July 16, 2022 at 1:55 am

I’m using Gaia greens 444 my sink water is 7.8. Is this to high? The soil is kings mix coco with worm castings. All organic

  39. Dennis Dekker on July 16, 2022 at 1:55 am

I stopped the video after the first 10 seconds, holy crap that was annoying

  40. Lance Owens on July 16, 2022 at 1:55 am

Hay brother as always thanks for spending your time making all the content too help us knuckleheads. Still trying organics have a 4 gallon pot on 2nd round pH run off is getting low should I add lime and I have general hydroponics ph so I’m going to try not using it my new reverse osmosis system is kicking it out at 6.6 anyway . But my question is what would you suggest to help get pH back up? Thanks bro

  41. GROOVYEG on July 16, 2022 at 1:56 am

what if my ph is 8-8.2 after i filter my tap water 🙁 i need to get the chlorine out!! using super soil btw

  42. Luke Hammer on July 16, 2022 at 1:56 am

    Wouldn’t distilled work if u didn’t Ph?

  43. Joseph George on July 16, 2022 at 1:59 am

The fact that mr Canucks grows extremely fire flower like he probably is gonna win an award at some point but the fact that he does ph his water makes the point that you probably should ph the water if you want great results like his and if not ph-ing doesn’t give you those fire results then the not ph-Ing method is bad lol but ppl can grow however they want if it works for them by the way ilgm genetics are the worsts it’s be found out that ilgm seeds are all the same besides indica or sativa like they are all the same u could do a side by side with gdp and there blue dream and they will both look the same lol the gdp will have no color and ppl found this out so ilgm just recently came out with new seeds new Strain’s I haven’t gotten any yet waiting on the YouTube growers to do them and see how they come out
