3:45 Did you cover the floor with plastic-film in case of water leakage? What film are you using?

  2. Dwight Jacobs on October 27, 2022 at 4:45 pm

    Agree

  3. Anthony Louis on October 27, 2022 at 4:45 pm

    RDWC for the win.

  4. eede on October 27, 2022 at 4:48 pm

I know dwc runs are more explosive if you have you system dialed in but the same with your soil and I haven’t bought soil in over a year if done right you just need to amend your soul as needed not sure if you have heard about hygro hybrid but in soil with the correct light in a 8 by 6 area 4 plants turn over 5 lbs also another guy on you tube goes by build a soil check him out as well 2 guys really can make it simple to grow in soil and produce as long as you have good lights but that’s in every grow style

  5. Andrew Watts on October 27, 2022 at 4:51 pm

As a organic grower you most definitely do not buy soil every run of you are your literally wasting your time the more runs living soil has the better it gets, so long as you re amend adequately throughout the grow periods 👏✌️

  6. Filipe Cardozo on October 27, 2022 at 4:55 pm

The best way is what you got at your disposal. I’ve no way to grow cannabis in RDWC, and that is ok I still grow beuatiful flowers

  7. eggs panda on October 27, 2022 at 4:59 pm

for quantity but definitely not for quality

  8. Michael Gordon on October 27, 2022 at 5:00 pm

Dry amendments 10 gallon pot 3-4 days max no maintenance just water before going.

  9. T Baby on October 27, 2022 at 5:00 pm

    What happen to back plant

  10. Mr Rashid on October 27, 2022 at 5:01 pm

    1. Quicker flushes
    2. Smoother smoke
    3. Quicker nutrient feed issue fix
    4. King of root growth

For those wanting to get into it, try running a single pot DWC system first. It will help you understand the modular aspect of RDWC. Youl also have the biggest plant you’ve grown. Just ensure your water stays somewhat cool. So it’s good practice to cover your pot with light reflective material.

I constantly get around 6 ounces dense dry buds from my harvest with my single plant DWC. Once you see what DWC does… Youl never go back.

  11. Glizzo Robinson on October 27, 2022 at 5:01 pm

These plants ain’t come to be thriving in water, mother natures soil simply can’t be beat. I stopped this video at 2:05, did he say that it taste better? Terps and all you simply can’t beat soil, I love it here big dawg. Respect to the ones growing this way too we all grow amazing bud

  12. String Greens on October 27, 2022 at 5:02 pm

Been using the same dirt for years. I just re-amend the soil with blood meal and bone meal. Give it a good shake and rake and use it all over again. Havnt bought dirt in years….Would love to try this method though. Or The kraky way

  13. Chris on October 27, 2022 at 5:02 pm

The lady’s are looking great ✌

  14. KICKPWNS on October 27, 2022 at 5:02 pm

All fun and games till the power goes out lol

  15. Karega Iregi on October 27, 2022 at 5:03 pm

Can we be honest for a change? This debate comes down to "FINANCES!"
The average grower will start off with soil grows based off of finances alone creating a natural bias.
The science & technology involved with RDWC has already been proven.
I don’t know anybody that transitioned to RDWC & went back to soil… Once you go RDWC you won’t look back unless you’re obsessed with "organic grows."

  16. MATY2G on October 27, 2022 at 5:03 pm

#1 con lower terps for that alone soil is 👑

  17. Jared Purdham on October 27, 2022 at 5:03 pm

Bro I’ve struggled getting root mass like that. Seems I could get the right water level. So I ended up with like a half zip. Any info or a good source of info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks man love the channel

  18. Санчес on October 27, 2022 at 5:05 pm

What bulk heads are you using (for connecting pipes and pot)? I only found ones from Current Culture H2O, but they are expensive. Perhaps there is an alternative?

  19. 𝟲𝟵𝗫𝗫𝗫.𝗙𝗨𝗡 on October 27, 2022 at 5:05 pm

Alles sehr schön. Aber zuerst zusammen die Nummern 10 und 1. Eine Svettass.Site Brünette und eine anderej Blondine. Es wäre unfair, wenn ich 4 wählen würde

  20. DatCrazyBishAries on October 27, 2022 at 5:07 pm

    What rdwc units you recommend???

  21. HydroCloudZ on October 27, 2022 at 5:08 pm

Hell yeah lets go another video!! 😀 Plants are looking amazing and I believe everybody is going to have their preference on which way to grow. Either way growing is a valuable skill whether for food or medicine.

  22. Mike C on October 27, 2022 at 5:08 pm

i agree totally. RDWC is my favorite too. 20+ years running my C.A.P ebb n grow system. i also run a flood table for clones and teens vegging. things just grow better in hydroponics. most other style growers dont know what they are missing… stay frosty ih

  23. Kevin. on October 27, 2022 at 5:15 pm

    Nice setup dude 🌱

  24. Mase Windu on October 27, 2022 at 5:19 pm

I currently run a 4site rdwc & am on my second run with it. First run achieved 1.35 lbs with 4 different strains. Second run is only 2 different cultivars. It has its benefits & drawbacks.

The pros: I only had changed my water every 2 weeks freeing me up to travel for work & growing remotely. I experienced explosive growth in veg but what I felt like was a longer flower time with same cultivars diminishing returns a bit. Rdwc was easier to flush & tastes so clean too. Deficiencies show themselves very quickly using dwc allowing you quicker response & recovery time.

The cons: With this type of system you can’t pull it out so you don’t want to have you tent in a corner, a drip system on a fast fit tray would solve this. Although veg growth is sped up using dwc, I theorize it’s not as fast or efficient with resources as a Grodan/vidawool drip sea of green grow style. I also experienced slightly higher power draw due to a constantly running chiller. The fact that it’s a fully connected non-modular system coupled with limiting number of plant count means you cannot change the irrigation layout on the fly should some plants come down early & you’d like to use the free space for starting a potentially longer run that entering flower or spacing runs a bit, this is also can be done by using a drip system, 2 separate reservoirs & a few valves. The cleaning process is a whole heck of a lot easier with drip vs rdwc, any dwc person will tell you the breakdown & cleaning is way more time consuming.

  25. Zack B on October 27, 2022 at 5:19 pm

    RDWC is the shittiest because
    Big $$ set up
    Way more water consumption
    Worrying about leaks
    Water temperature (water chillers)
    Power outages
Missing out on all of the terrestrial microbes in the soil rhizosphere
    Loud pumps
    Expensive ph meters and dositron.

Nothing competes with dirt a bucket and water for low maintenance

  26. 2x2 Growing on October 27, 2022 at 5:20 pm

interesting point about the cost off coco every run. I’ve always wanted to build an RDWC system but I grow in a 2×2 and like running multiple plants.

  27. Санчес on October 27, 2022 at 5:21 pm

Excellent video! Continue in the same spirit!

  28. Nick G on October 27, 2022 at 5:22 pm

brother you missed one of my favorite things!! CLEANUP GOES DOWN THE DRAIN! roots dry to nothing (one trash bag) 😎 keep up the good work my friend 👍👍

  29. Jason Seaward on October 27, 2022 at 5:22 pm

I’m just starting my transition to dwc and I made a dwc cloner and my 1st run of clones it looks like 8 out of 12 might live. I’m super nervous about setting everything up tho lol.

  30. xd ae on October 27, 2022 at 5:25 pm

RDWC is nice though it seems challenging to implement commercially with like 1000 plants. Rockwool has very similar pros and is less intensive on the setup.

  31. I got da MagiiK on October 27, 2022 at 5:26 pm

Awesome video some awesome points to think about when choosing your grow method!! However I think I would’ve categorized the video RDWC vs synthetic because if you grow organic living soil you don’t have to buy coco or soil every run just re amend and boom off to the races! As well as organics being pretty low maintenance as well! Top dressing and feeding every 25-30 days! If you want to go on vacation you can set up a autowatering system with a nice size reservoir this also eliminates the over/underwatering issue with a nice mulch layer/cover crop to keep top soil moist. Also if you have good water you don’t have to monitor PH and PPM as closely! However the pest management can be an issue if you aren’t maintaining a clean healthy grow environment so you are definitely right on that one as well as RDWC’s growth rates are phenomenal!

  32. Rob Duck on October 27, 2022 at 5:28 pm

I’m with you brah.. ❤️ my rdwc. About to start a crop right now. Where do you get your seeds. I’m getting through truenorthseeds

  33. Sinful Tempz on October 27, 2022 at 5:29 pm

I’ve only grown in soil and I’ve gotten huge plants in very little veg time however I gotta try hydro to see how much faster it grows. Nice video makes a lot of sense to go hydro.

  34. hobby.grower on October 27, 2022 at 5:29 pm

I also love dwc. However, last winter I had a lot of power outages leading to some problems due to air pump not running. Have you ever filled a reservoir all the way up with hydroton kind of like a hybrid flood table/ dwc? Thinking about an experiment with a water pump to circulate nute solution but have the plants reservoir elevated so if power drops, the water will run out into a separate reservoir. Ever seen this done? Or does that sound like a dumb idea?

  35. Seth Harris on October 27, 2022 at 5:30 pm

the instrumental yu got playing in the background went to crazy on this bro lmao i couldnt even watch the interesting video cuz im over here rappin on it 💀😭

  36. Alpha Omega on October 27, 2022 at 5:31 pm

In soil you only have to feed twice for the entire grow.

  37. Serj Leonel on October 27, 2022 at 5:35 pm

"NK aero" channel… recommend seen you

  38. GGWP on October 27, 2022 at 5:37 pm

Hi my name rawin from thailand i saw your videos they are perfect. i bought your couse to impove my garden.i already paid for that but i don’t know how to see that videos or id for login Thx you. Stay high. Peace

  39. Quad Lawnmowerman on October 27, 2022 at 5:38 pm

Big statement, and I use to agree but since trying and moving to high pressure aeroponics a few years ago it showed RDWC is simply a massive waste of money and products. In aero you use less than 10% of the nutes and less than 1% of the water compared to RDWC while getting much faster plant growth. You also use lower nute levels and have no waste media and don’t have issues with most root pests. Only down side is it is a little more complicated to setup initially, it is also generally cheaper than RDWC due to smaller pipe sizes.

  40. Andrew Jeffery on October 27, 2022 at 5:38 pm

Growing in hydro pebbles with drippers in a recirculating system ok?

  41. Nailed it Outdoors on October 27, 2022 at 5:39 pm

Thanks brother appreciate your time and your content keep it coming

  42. Gargoyle King on October 27, 2022 at 5:39 pm

U have got the content on hydro really appreciate the knowledge u dropping keep up the great work 👑

  43. PrintingWithPEEK on October 27, 2022 at 5:42 pm

Definitely agree. Not only with these points that you’ve already stated, but if you don’t have to worry about dehumidification nearly as much, especially if you run ducting directly to a register. Also, if you use a parastaltic pump and an R/O System, you don’t have to change water or worry about dosing. That way you can just mix all your nutrients beforehand, monitor from the main tank, and use a higher end aquarium chiller to move the nutrients and r/o’d water around.

  44. Cam Z on October 27, 2022 at 5:42 pm

Man. Started watching your content like 2 years ago I think. Built my own system with inline filters and shit at the beginning of the year. Never going back. I straight up do nothing but change water ever 2 weeks and train my plants. Super happy I made the switch. Thanks for the motivation!
