It could also mean over watering which leads to PH problems. Either too high ph or too low. It then looks like the plant has an excess or deficiency but really all you have to do is make sure the plants ph is in check. That’s my issue I’m currently resolving

Did they came back? I had similar issue when I transplant my 4 week clones into a happy frog soil and mixed some worm castings into it.I guess it was to much nutrients for the plants.i recently transplant them into a new pot .how long did it took for your plants comeback

In my experience the claw usually happens when you’re plant is too close to the light or nitrogen toxicity. I’d just do a heavy flush and lean off on nutes. I never use the max amount of nutes. Try 60-70% of the total amount, works great and I never have problems….anymore! Lol.
