May I ask how to germinate a seed that has been stored in the fridge? Do you let the seed cool down to a room temperature or do you germinate it when it’s cold? Does it make a difference? Thanks 🙂

I tend to plant allllll my seeds that dont germinate into one planter. i ALMOST ALWAYS end up with a seed sprouting after the fact. Moral of the story, never give up on your seeds. They’re resilient.

Use a napkin, then a towel around it.

Id suggest not putting them in water first n not putting them in a bag either. Thats why his 3rd seed didnt grow they need oxygen getting to them. Just a papertowel wet or napkin. 👍👍👍

I used a cup with water crystals and left if for a few days. The taproot was nice and healthy and easy to put into a rapid rooter.

I left my seed in the water for 24 hours and it has a root what do I do I still put it in the paper towel
Honestly I just throw mine in the water and they sprout just like that no paper towel. Takes about 3 – 4 days.
Have a question. I have a vial of seeds from 1997. Back when I was a bit wild. Anyways. They were sealed and stored proper. Some have gone yellow but I see alot are still green, looking alive. What steps to I take to transfer them into another storage medium so I can remove the dead seeds?? Also does having the dead seeds in with the alive affect anything? I’m scared to open them. I think there are some rare seeds in there.. back in the 90s when the stuff was quite heavy. Thanks.
